I'd say you're best of waiting till next release, that's what I'm doing myself.

Remove the option because a settings for this has been merged in CyanogenMod.

Merged into my test build.

And yes that does let us use the animation as you can see from my cerrit comment :P

That's not what I meant :3 I full well know about the camera dilemma

But there is a gingerbread app called CAMERA ICS (Search CAMERA ICS by Moblynx) on playstore which has ICS panorama working. If it works on gingerbread, surely it can work on JB?

I tried this on cm9 and panorama wont work. It's all to do with qualcom drivers.
