Guest MoreLazers Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 15/08 build on goo, OK to test?
Guest sasa_gm Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Link2SD fix not working for me.. I reboot but the apps are not linked to sd card. When I go to link2SD-remova link, it says that the apps are already not linked (dx). When i try to run terminal command, it says something like-access denied
Guest tilal6991 Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Link2SD fix not working for me.. I reboot but the apps are not linked to sd card. When I go to link2SD-remova link, it says that the apps are already not linked (dx). When i try to run terminal command, it says something like-access denied It is working. You need to link all the apks, dex files and libs to SD card and then reboot. That's it.
Guest utternoob Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Haven't tried terminal, but I also checked link2sd and dex files aren't linked to partition again after reboot
Guest sasa_gm Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 It is working. You need to link all the apks, dex files and libs to SD card and then reboot. That's it. I've done that 2 times. On reboot, it says -optimising apps, but dex files are not linked after that. I'm usin 14/08 build...
Guest tilal6991 Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Right. Do this: Link the dex files to sdcard and then in terminal emulator: su sh /etc/init.d/12*
Guest utternoob Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) OK will do Is there an output, or does it just continue as normal? Edited August 15, 2012 by utternoob
Guest Josh92 Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 I'm still having mounting errors, is anyone using ext3 and is correctly mounting?
Guest sasa_gm Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) Right. Do this: Link the dex files to sdcard and then in terminal emulator: su sh /etc/init.d/12* That's working fine. Thanks! I'm still having mounting errors, is anyone using ext3 and is correctly mounting? I'm using ext3 and no probs now. Edited August 15, 2012 by sasa_gm
Guest creedence Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 link2sd works for me. You must start over again. After the reboot, the dex. file move.
Guest utternoob Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Yep, and it works. Checked data memory and I now have 112mb of space left from my 270mb partition
Guest plegdroid Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 afternoon Lalit, there's a new build being flagged by goo.im for 15-08-12, is this ok for testing? :)
Guest tilal6991 Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Yep it is although it's a slow video build.
Guest plegdroid Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Yep it is although it's a slow video build. thank you, I'll stick with the 14-08-12 no video build, but thank you for the reply :D
Guest Josh92 Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) Ah working now - it seems you may have to install rom & gapps then boot & create mount scripts THEN flash the link2sd fix. I think it's all working though I haven't done the terminal bit yet, downloading & linking all the apps first. Also, will this terminal bit need to be added everytime a new app is linked? Edited August 15, 2012 by Josh92
Guest utternoob Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 I tried doing the terminal bit after linking dex, and it seems to be fine even after doing it repeatedly
Guest pctv007 Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Yep it is although it's a slow video build. Do you mean it's a no video or does it have a slow UI ? THX anyway Currently using 14/08 and it's GREAT :D
Guest creedence Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) My method: 1, rom flash--reboot 2, gapps flash--reboot 3, script flash--reboot 4, link2sd install--mount script create--reboot 5, app install--link2sd move automatically--reboot 6, apps are updated 7, ready After this process will work the apps. You can install many apps, not just start. Apps run only after reboot. I know that you can abbreviate.Make fewer steps. Edited August 15, 2012 by creedence
Guest Josh92 Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 I do need to redo the terminal code each time for new apps, works straight away again once done though.
Guest creedence Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) With the reboot method can do everything at once. Several applications install and reboot only once. But terminal also works. Edited August 15, 2012 by creedence
Guest Josh92 Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Yeah terminal can do the same thing, quicker I'd say. I posted that before I saw your post though, it wasn't a comment on that. :)
Guest creedence Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 No problem. Several solutions are better than none. :)
Guest creedence Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Dear Lalit Link2sd script works with 15-08-12 build ? Thanks
Guest Josh92 Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 It's a shame you can't delete emails from notification tray with a button, I thought that was going to be a feature. A lot of the emails I get I'd just want to delete straight away. Rom is working great so far though!
Guest tilal6991 Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Yep and any future build until it's sorted by the app dev.
