Guest .ALi007 Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 (edited) How to do the logchat ? .. Edited July 18, 2012 by .ALi007
Guest tilal6991 Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 The Settings->System don't work because the functionality doesn't exist - ie the backend code. It's just a stub for now.
Guest satanovsyn Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 (edited) Hi I have no problem testing this further but how do I get a log cat? Hi. use "Terminal" and write this to command line: su logcat After click to allow and write again to command line logcat and on the screen you can see all log information. But if you want to create file, you must use this command: logcat -f logcat.txt[/CODE][/b] After if you can see, what is inside, try to use in your PC "WordPad" not "Notepad", because in notepad are lines in continuous line. In WordPad you can see better form :) Edited July 18, 2012 by satanovsyn
Guest creedence Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 The Settings->System don't work because the functionality doesn't exist - ie the backend code. It's just a stub for now. All right! There is still great! I can only echo the others: THANK YOU
Guest satanovsyn Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 Cracked su - seems like the CM one works perfectly for us. Still waiting on an adb logcat of the phone reboot issue. If no one gives it to me I'm going to have to forgo fixing it for this build. I will do it, wait 20min :). I need to installl update :)
Guest .ALi007 Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 Got error : couldn't open output file: Read-only file system 255|u0_a19@android:/ $
Guest tilal6991 Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 Just do logcat -f /sdcard/logcat.txt
Guest tilal6991 Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 In the sdcard there will be a textfile called logcat.txt. If you could post that it would be much appreciated.

Guest creedence Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 Ringtones do not work? Vibrate only?
Guest satanovsyn Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 tilal6991 how it is with logcat. He take all information from starting phone? Because if I made my logcat, that inside is one fatal exception. But if I made logcat after 10min with this: logcat -f /sdcard/logcat.txt, log about fatal exception is missing in this log. Why?
Guest satanovsyn Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 Ringtones do not work? Vibrate only? Yes only vibrating. And if you want a choose a new ringtone, preview is not. I tried to change silent mode to vibration and back, but without any influence.
Guest iReece Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 Yes only vibrating. And if you want a choose a new ringtone, preview is not. I tried to change silent mode to vibration and back, but without any influence. Music doesn't play either. Could it tie into this issue?..
Guest creedence Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 Yes only vibrating. And if you want a choose a new ringtone, preview is not. I tried to change silent mode to vibration and back, but without any influence. I've tried. Thanks
Guest tilal6991 Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 All this is fixed in the next release.
Guest satanovsyn Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 We must wait for new update, but I know, it is lot of work, that for sure. And for all, dont try for all fix in one update. It is not possible. I think first will be: 1. Android stop working after start and PIN entering 2. Sound and music fix 3. System--> Settings- -> Preferences ended And after we can write other things
Guest satanovsyn Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 In second post is mistake: 17/06: Initial release It means 17/7 or?
Guest tilal6991 Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 In second post is mistake: 17/06: Initial release It means 17/7 or? Yeah - I'll fix it when I post the new build.
Guest iReece Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 All this is fixed in the next release. If music is fixed... This may become my new rom. Provided I can still perform basic phone functions :)
