Why no DLNA support in Play Movies/Play Music

It's a real shame that Play Music and Play Movies don't have DLNA support so I can just throw content to another device or pull it from my media server. I've got used to doing this with the Samsung players on my S3.

So which app(s) do you use to cover this gap? I've fiddled with Twonky Mobile but find it quite slow and cumbersome, anything better I should look at?
