After using for a few months a stable ICS ROM, I decided to do the update for the JB.

I was very excited about this release. It's very fast and smooth.

But now after sync to my google account, I have trouble doing whatever. When I turn on the connections, either through 3G or Wifi, the mobile becomes extremely slow.

The transfer rate was very slow and comes to a halt in downloads, through Google Play, or simply to synchronize contacts. Slow to the point of not transferring some photos of contacts.

I'm using S2E, but from what I've read on this forum, nobody had problems with this program. And this only happens if I turn on the connectivity.

I've flashed this ROM several times, and the symptoms are always the same.

And of course I've follow the instructions. As usual, I did Wipe Data / Factory Reset, Wipe Cache, Format System, Wipe Dalvik and Cache.

My only hope now is that someone can help me overcome this problem, because I have no more ideas.

Just replaced the sd-card yesterday night, and now i have the faster ROM that my Blade ever seen.

Very nice build for ZTE Skate! Fantastic implementation of PA/JB!

Boots fast, network fast too, nice sensitivity and response... With full functionality (within the limitations already known and general JB in Skate) implements 4.1.2 with KonstaKANG Gapps updated and all fits into a /system of 170 MB! The paranoid 2.5.5 shows significant developments in the customization of the UI for each application. Very, very powerful. Interesting options for settings too. In all, excelent build for Skate, near perfect for all day use.

For if you conceive, you advancement that has some small minor fault:

1) After start the phone, just when shows the lock screen, there is some graphical glitches, and specular image for aprox. 2 secs

2) Camera: mainly ok, but some vertical banding just in the moment of press the shutter; the preview acceptable (some stairs/jumps); the result (photo captured) its ok. Panorama mode has too much graphical interferences (checksboard effect) and its difficult compose a panorama; the preview no helps whatsoever. Video capturing: acceptable too, but a bit of jumps and stairs recorded when the camera moves; the result captured its acceptable too, but not fine (stairs, micro jumps...).

3) Gallery -> Settings => black screen, no options for adjustement

4) Lock Screen -> from lock screen, to prees lock button again, no darks instantaneous; make a "flash" with the lock screen

5) StatusBar -> toggle for 2G/3G & data doesn't seems work ok

6) StatusBar -> lose some interesting configuration options presents in ZeeLog previous versions and another builds of PA/JB from Tilal and C3C0

Would be nice implement in JB the solution founded by C3C0 for enable native Wifi tethering in ICS for Skate ( http://www.modaco.com/topic/355346-romzte-skate-paranoid-android-cm9-tablet-ui-21112012/page__st__800 )

Great update zeelog, many thanks! YouTube HQ works fine for me, although video playback is still laggy. (Tried it with bsplayer and mx player with a 720p video, it might be too much.)

Are you planning to build PA based on AOSP 4.2 in the future? (I don't really know whether it is yet possible to build 4.2 for our blade.) The PA team announced that they are maintaining the CM-based source as well, are you going to build from these sources any longer?

Well i have some questions to make nothing major, about running and hardware probs , but there is some s*** that really pisses me off, i don't know if that's about haveing too many apps or s***, but every time i restart my device, i need to re-install some of the old apps , it gives me the low memory error, and then apps begin to stop responding, i re-install them and everything it's ok untill i restart it again, i use link2sd , app2sd and all that crap to improove my space management, but i am allways with this problem . can you help me about what can i do to stop this?

use only the built-in S2E or, if that doesn't work, install it from here:

i think it's possible that two or more of them work against each other like two anti-virus-programs on your pc ;)

ZeeLog, please, when you consider that the developments are significant, you should be grateful if you will carry out a compilation for Skate. Currently continued using your 2.5.5_18NOV2012 and except the small defects listed in my previous post, it works superbly. The most uncomfortable, for me, is the fault of the 2g/ 3g switch in the notification bar ... Does that works well in the Blade??

Thanks a lot for that, that totally worked it out for me , i am now with some 100MB of free space , but i still have an other question, had you tryed sending Multimedia messages while you are not connected to wireless? cause everytime i try that keeps sending and nothing happens , but while i am connected to wireless, it sends and receives the messages instantly :s
