Guest C3C0
This is the set of kernels suitable for SFR Staraddict devices having touchscreen response issues on standard kernels shipped with custom ROMs. These kernels are configured for ATMEL MXT224_P743F touchscreens. However, it was reported that some SFR Staraddict models are using the same touchscreen as other Skate models (Synaptics or Focaltech). So if this is your case then use kernels from this thread instead: http://www.modaco.co...ll-custom-roms/ "Thanks" go to manufacturers for bringing such a chaos here... Be sure you pick one from the correct category. For CyanogenMod based ROMs two versions are available - normal and volume boosted that can be used if you find volume levels too low (be aware of distortion @ high volume levels). Use at your own risk. Flash in clockworkmod - no wipes are needed. Backup your ROM before flashing so you can easily restore your system in case of problems. Guest SingleWolf
Just updated wtih S3-CM9 "for all", have no any touchscreen issues (and with all previous "non-SFR" versions too). What's I need to test more accurate, or I simply have an "wrong" Staraddict :) ?
Guest C3C0
Probably your device has the same touchscreen as other non—sfr skates have :) Manufacturers are bringing chaos here. :) And the problem is that they released kernel sources just for very first models (September 2011)
Guest Franck Black
C3C0 this kernel runs very well .. 0 problems ... everything works and battery consumption greatly improves ... I know it's early to give a verdict but you did a great job ...thanks

Guest razzmataz1478
Works fine on atomic mod No advantages unless you have an SFR Staraddict, which if you read, it says in the topic title.

Guest C3C0
How to Check which one I have and which kernel to use. Or if you don't experience touchscreen response issues at edges or "mouse pointer" showing on ics roms or picture being off bottom edge then you have older skate model that majority here has and thus don't need to use this one but normal S series kernel. Link to thread is in the first post.

Guest SingleWolf
C3C0 Is this kernel have only difference in touchscreen driver configuration from "for all" kernel? Strange, but I have no more battery leak by 2-5% per night after updating to it (same ROM, software, configuration and usage, no any wakelocks detected).
Guest C3C0
Yes, they are the same. Difference is just in touchscreen configuration.
Guest Viento del Sur
Hi CECO: What about ceco s2 rev1 (for skatie rom)? In Skatie forum people say it improves the graphics quality, better color and brightness... It is also compatible with OrangeMontecarlo of Spain? regards.
Guest C3C0
S2 rev 1 in skatie is the same one as in "s series kernel" thread. For sfr compatibility there's sfr s2 available that's also has the same features as normal s2 rev 1... hope you're not confused now.
