If you're having an "signature verification failed" error in recovery and it asks you if you want to install an untrusted zip, just hit yes, it was fixed 3 days ago in recovery by koush.

For some reason what's app fails to connect to the Internet even though wifi is on.

I have Checked disable HW Overlay.

It's not because of this rom, but because of their server.

whatsapp is curently down.

I have CM10 R1. In order to update to CM10 R2 I have to wipe data/factory reset? I don't want to loose my applications and settings.

Yes it is best to wipe everythink.

To keep all your data use GoBackup

Installed R2 OTA over CM10 R1 and notification lights are not working - but then that probably my own fault for not doing a clean install. Not complaining, just an observation!

Hmm, might have got that wrong. Got a notification light appearing now. Somebody shoot me please!

Pull the battery,vol up and power then install again worked for me.

You don't have to wipe anything. Just do it via the OTA update and all your apps and setting will still survive.

Changes to settings not immediately shown. I.E. Change mobile network to data enabled - have to go out of menu and back in to show changes
