Yes i've fixed the brick, The fix brick gives me the Xolo Rom so to speak.

I'd like to be running the Orange ROM and it isn't working.

Have you installed the Orange logo first before installing Orange ICS?

Hi all,

i had my OSD rooted, and then updated with the latest OTA update that came out a few days back. This made me loose root access of course.

so i tried using the latest version of the AIO tool updated 15 Jan 2013 to re-root, but after i hit "restore" on the phone's screen, the phone reboots, and asks me to overwrite /system/xbin/su, but i cannot type anything!

Has anyone experienced the same thing? did i do anything wrong? is there a way to root with the latest update?

Did you 'downgrade' using the aio tool first before trying to root? Edited by BlueMoonRising

Guys(and gals), there's a reason a manual is now included with the tool, try reading it first before trying any option.

Is this a good time to buy the San Diego or shall I stay on my old HUAWEI ascend G300 because this complicated process looks hard for a noob like me and for the SD card thing, can you use the phone storage and the SD card Storage at the same time and does the xolo ICS ROM have any difference to the orange version and what is the maximum SD card Storage I can use?

Sorry if said too much because I don't want to waste my money on this

Thanks seems I didn't quite read it correctly,

Kind of awkwardly laid out.

I'll test what I think is wrong after work hopefully will all be good then.

Thanks for the assistance everyone.

Is it possible to add "SP-A20i Mint" to your tool?

if you have a full system update.zip or is it a patched update.zip if it is then ill need a gingerbread Rom dump

I think it removes the ability to root or the root that you already have, but not the debranding

Am I allowed to be excited I fixed it. All i needed was the GB Dump. It's kinda wierd I overlooked it thinking I'm installing ICS why do I need a GB dump.

Because Orange ICS is a patch, not an upgrade in the traditional sense
