So could someone please give the easiest way of rooting without damage to the phone as there is no recovery. Thanks in advance J . Someone who has done it cheers. So just use bin4ry's original method instead. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460 What do you mean there's no recovery? Of course there's a recovery - stock recovery. When I try to use programs to remove system apps (e.g. Facebook), the programs crash. I installed a program called "root checker" which says that the phone is not rooted.
