Stable, +3% CPU +5% r/w requests compared to 0.3

& Antutu 7950.

Pack the boot.img from recovery to flashable zip (you can repack one with costume boot.Img)...

so it gets through antutu good now, wow i have to try this

It rebooted while antutu was laoding the 3d test for me. I'm using FusionX B6.1. But I like the update, I'm happy to see the SmartassV2 governor.

Bug reports:

 

On both  stock kelrnels I noticed quick battery drain.

 

Also on experimental kernel the colors suddenly went to like 8bit green-blue-black.  =D

I tried 16bit colors with Kernel Tuner, maybe thats why...?

 

Restart solved this .

Yes its for 16 bit colors...the default is 24 so change it

lol..is all this worth it just to get a little bit better performance..

anyway i had the phone restart in both antuntu..and templerun..but when it worked on temple run it still restarted in antuntu..

There is no CPU OC & GPU OC is small so it's not it so don't blame kernel!

It's 100% stable on my proper stock!

It's worth of a swap support & every performance bonus is just it a bonus!

One more things setting display output to 16 bit colors will rise performance (mostly in game) up to 33%! That is a solution for games that run slow bat I don't think yo will want it in other things.

The whole swap is pointless..more ram from your sd card..do me a favour

As it may seam to you bat actually even uncompressed app from swap will run (load) faster then regular one that is loaded then uncompressed.

Even swap is mostly needed for games & web page cashing there are & numerous apps that can spent a huge amounts of memory basically because they are badly written like Facebook for instance!

Yes!

Bat I think it will make your G510 work on 1GHz... you can revert back by repackaging in the copy of the same (renamed) zip the boot.img from recovery of your current ROM. First make this!!!

When i try to test 3d with antutu, 3d test crashs and antutu sends me 6000 score, why?i tried to flash a clean b197, happens the same, maybe because i edited the build.prop?i added this lines:

 

debug.performance.tuning=1

video.accelerate.hw=1

 

this happens with kernel stock and kernel custom, i dont know why..

 

 

EDIT: The line that causes problems was debug.performance.tuning=1

Nothing special with this kernel (except the reboots). Only the fixed overclock and some governor (cant see any difference if i try any of those).

g510 already has 1.2 ghz clock speed, only thing gained would be swap, and frequency tables may be different, I believe this kernel would run at 1 ghz on g510

 

Is this thread now at  a cul-de-sac??

Antutu score with "default"       kernel          : 7125 (no crash)

Antutu score with cexstel kernel stock v030: 7025 (1 crash)

Antutu score with cexstel kernel experimental(?) stock 7688 (NO CRASH)
