Guest Ceastel Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 Now 407MB ram version for stock should have ~407MB ram. I reuploaded it. :) is possible 0.59 version whit 425 mb? actualy i use 0.58 for stock, in 425 mb version, only one bug on the camera, after 1 shot, the camera seems to freeze, but actually continues to photograph if you press on the icon snaps hd videos instead seem to working with mxplayer and vlc thanks a lot for you kernel! There is too much compiling to always make four variations of kernel + for stock / cm10 / cm10.1. After some next versions, I compile all variations. For example in v0.55 , in v0.58 etc. ... Hello ceastel good job you have here! i know you only make kernel for Y300 and G510. But can make too for G600? some people make ports from G510 but kernel unstable... I hope you can Like Victod said. I can't make kernel for G600 without the device can i flash it on miui ? You can flash stock version of kernel for MiUi but some stuff like camera won't be working. CeXstel v0.59 for Stock(407MB) just 393mb Yes, Same thing for me. CeXstel v0.59 for Stock(407MB) just 391MB :( Try download again kernel and now everything should be fine .

Guest ZolaIII Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 Qualcomm is now a Linaro member ... As most of BSD distribution did embrace Clang now it's expected that most of hardware manufacturers do the same thing. BSD is future (my favorite is Dragonfly).

BSD is future (my favorite is Dragonfly). Well, FreeBSD did embrace Clang. The Derivates just fall in line :D I still like gcc, because without it we wouldn't be where we are now. And there may be a future for a unified gcc+llvm: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTU5Njk Edited February 28, 2014 by commandline1984

Now considered that BSD is not that much optimized as Linux is & that the future of many core systems don't go that well with monolithic kernel that Thorvald is insisting on. Clang still lacks open MP support & GGC 9 is bringing a Open MP 2.0 support. Edited February 28, 2014 by ZolaIII
Guest thetonyxx Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 Update to v0.60 (check changelog) :P installed, all ok, except for a problem in the test opengl 3d 2.0 AnTuTu benchmark, the benchmark goes slow, the final score for the 3d graphics is just 350 points, compared to 1400 points you get with the fusionx with other versions of the kernel but heavy games like real racing 3 does not seem to be affected by drops in fps
