REALLY respect your work and thank you sooo much for an amazing kernel!!

But 80% people use kitkat now since its the latest and best ROM for y300 and g510 by far. You can do so much more help for making a cexstel kernel for cm11.

CM11 is better in every way there is no doubt. we can get the best out of this phone if you could only make a version for kitkat. it would be amazing!!! please do? PLEASE!

After Chil rework source & Nokia X is out (for proprietary libs) their is some chance for it. & Chil is making a great work on customizing kernel!

I uploaded source because I'm again very busy and without time for kernel.

I think in this topic  : http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=789255

David_vaz compiled kernel which base on my source. It's for CM11 .

Yes, it´s true. But it's the version 0.58 of 426mb. anyway, thanks for releasing the source to make this possible.

I think it's version 0.61 with 426 mb.

Before 0.61 my source was closed ;d

I've flashed your kernel, it works like a charm. :)

I have 2 questions.

1st: what is the "?" after the zram in changelog? It means that zram not working?

2nd: we have no kgsl-2d0.0 and 1.1 directories. Would you add them, and oc gpu a bit for ui smoothness? :)

Thanks.

Hey I want to use David_Vaz's kernel with  chil360's slimkat as both roms are based on slimkat source. So can I just extract the boot.img for that rom and replace it with boot.img of  chil360's rom zip and flash it??

zram working olny CM, no in stock rom

but the last time I tried the 10.1 cm did not work the zram

the GPU is overclocked to 320 MHz by default with this kernel

Yep, in 3D mode, but not in 2D....

Yep, in 3D mode, but not in 2D....

it is useless to overclock the 2d

I tried hill climb racing (a video game 2d) with both gpu to 320 to 192 mhz and that there is no difference even with the cpu locked at 65MHz

Ok, so the GPU has two modes, 2D and 3D, and there are two different clocks for the two modes: kgsl-3d is the 3D mode, which overclocked in this kernel, and the kgsl-2d, which left untouched.

@Ceastel can you do a 400 mb version?

why?

407mb version work perfect, camera, youtube and hd videos in local works fine

streaming video on some apps doesn not work properly (800x480 videos, it works with 360 (HQ) but not 480)

for Ceastel

what is the maximum ram the kernel over which the problems start?
for example, with the 426 camera and youtube had problems, but if it was 410 or 415?

(800x480 videos, it works with 360 (HQ) but not 480)

the difference on youtube is little

the difference on youtube is little

if you mean the quality, the difference between youtube HQ (360p) and 480p is not little

Yes it is!

First one is a CPU clock & Second one is corresponding GPU clock!

I don't know on what lithographic process msm8225Q is based!?

It's not a question is it possible to make Adrono 203 to run on 400MHz bat what will a power consumption, second thing is that GPU is more limited by a member speed.

If msm8225Q is based on 28nm process then that explains GPU frequency.

& a difference between 86xx & 82xx is radio.

I will check it out.

Edit: Its based on same old 45nm process so it is possible bat a question of power consumption for this old ATIs peace of junk remains!

Msm8225q is based on 45nm lithographic process same as our 8225 as per snapdragon's product sheet!
