And what about AOSP you were talking about?

P.S. downloading and testing, and which gapps to use? ;)

I don't really "pick" something to release, it's whatever I can get out first. AOSP will happen though.

GApps: anything 4.4, obviously :p

I have a trimmed PA zip here: http://android.thebronasium.com/

I'm gonna flash tomorrow. I need the clock to work to wake me up haha. What are the 'dangers' of 'experimental' versions?

What does this mean..I'm so confused

It means we've got kitkat...

Wouldn't flash through TWRP on G510 for me but works fine with CWM

Yeah, seems TWRP can't flash it. Add one to the list of problems I've had with TWRP. :p

I'm not sure if it's the fact the updater-script is set for u8951 and not u8950... either way, i'll try cwm

Really appreciate if anybody would make a flashable zip with the right TWRP or CWM.

Thank you very much.

Any use with new kernel source???

Which one? There's 3. :p

I already merged the J1 release in to a separate branch. I'll try it out and merge it before I start the nightlies for KitKat, though I've already been told it works fine.

The A1 release is apparently practically identical, I assume the only difference being "J1" changed to "A1", though I haven't actually checked it myself.

The A2 release is completely different, seems to be a different CAF tag, and they totally changed how they define devices supported by the kernel. The u8833 and u8815 are not supported in that release as is, not that it really matters much. It's still a 4.1 release, still a 3.4 kernel. The primary device is actually "Y301-A2", and not "Y300-A2". From a quick search it's msm8930.

Can't get it to flash using TWRP. I was able to get it working using CWM 6.0.4.4.
