It just makes the forum far less readable, takes up data when viewing over a mobile connection, and also makes it harder for people to read the forum when they "should" be doing other things like work! And I think it was worthy of a topic, as other users might appreciate knowing that they can turn the display of signatures off if they want to. Many signatures do clutter and confuse threads.
