have you heard about wipes ? After step four you should select wipe then advanced wipe and tick, chache, dalvik cache, data, system, custs and then swipe to wipe, and after instaling the rom u should wipe dalvik cache, twrp shows u the option for it right after the instalation

so now that I already installed it, what should I do? just wipe dalvik cache, or do I have to reinstall from the beginning?

All seems to be fine but I did notice that Antutu on 2 out 4 tests froze before open gl test near end and rebooted phone and score was down a little when it did complete with the stock vodafone rom I had 8300-8400 with this 7400-7600 so maybe something is up there.

in my antutu tests, only stock based roms finish beyond the graphics test.

If its getting a lesser score and restarting sporadically then there is a small glitch there perhaps, battery seems ok for me too but I seen someone else complain

It finished sometimes and why would it restart without completing? otherwise really enjoying the rom, I put the pa_gapps-modular-mini on it.

Perhaps it is the power profies, do all the models it covers have same hardware inside?

So do cyangenmod do final stable releases as i see it's updated everyday so somebody is working on it I presume, where do we get updates as to where the build is and what is left?

So i finally did it, gave 4.4.2 another shot, however there's this:

I only have two home screens in Trebuchet, and no way of adding more. Also, there are very few settings for Trebuchet in "Home" (two menu items, none of them very helpful).

Anyone else got this?

The main difference between our Ascend Y300 and the announced Ascend II Y300 is only the OS, right?

Yep, that seems!.

It has different home button's styles though

what's the procedure for updating? This is what I've tried.

1. Settings -> About phone -> CyanogenMod updates

2. Update Types

3. New Versions, incl. Nightlies

4. Download the latest version

5. Select Update

Is any manual wiping or other steps necessary? The download doesn't seem to include an MD5 file. Is there a setting to include that during updates?

Do people generally update everyday? Is there a changlog available somewhere?

My g510-0200 is restarting a lot for the last couple of days.. Today alone it restarted over 10 times... Also my home screen shortcuts gets cleared a lot... I'm using 17th Feb CM11 mod... Is it gonna get fixed at all! It was pretty stable for a few days... :(

I am using cm-11-20140224-Nightly and PA-GOOGLE APPS - MICRO MODULAR PACKAGE

Pretty good ROM, Its smooth, fast and uses only 250mb with around all top20 apps installed.

Issues:

1) Camera is working but UI is buggy but I use 3rd party paid app "Vignette".

2) have to tap Buttons on Quick Settings Panel multiple times to get them working.

I never expected a phone which is worth $70 in 2014 can be so fast and perfect.

Here's my CM Nightly schedule, as soon as I see a new build out:

Make sure I've got about 1.5Gb free space on microSD
Download nightly.zip, check it's md5sum

Reboot to TWRP recovery using advanced boot menu
Backup current Boot, System, Data (NO compression faster, microSD, do NOT skip md5)
Install (add up to 10 zips to queue) cm-11-2014xxxx-NIGHTLY-u8833.zip | Xposed_reactivator_4.3_armv7_sdk16.zip
Touch screen each time it dims so you can see progress (hopefully NO error msgs)
Wipe the Dalvik cache when prompted
Reboot, enjoy!

On reboot:
Delvik cache will be rebuilt
Apps will be started
Lockscreen will appear

If you see the boot logo AGAIN after Android Updating msg, you're in a boot loop =(
Time to restore that backup, or a previous ROM

Screenshots: 1 2 3
Note the Expanded Desktop feature in the Apollo shot =)
