[DEV][ROM] [25.1] CyanogenMod 11.0 (Android 4.4.4)

I flashed 5.0.2.0 CWM and it's still not working :/ In settings is shown 1GB space for apps, but Link2SD cannot mount the ext partition. I think, that it's problem with the app, not ROM or CWM. What app do you use for linking apps to ext on SD? :)

Why are you using older recovery when newer is available?

Ext is installed, that's why you have 1gb for apps. What else do you need ext partition for?

What is not working?...

Why are you wining? As is not allowed in this section?

I was using the 6.0.2.7 version (you should read my previous post), but Link2SD didn't work, so I tried the older version. I have the space for space apps, but I have to move them to ext partition or I don't? I'm not sure at this moment.

You do not need Link2sd, script is already included. No need to move apps also.

whatever you deem useless for you... is always useful for another... an example I always use themes so I wouldn't delete that...

Those that were deemed useless Zeelog already deleted them for the rom to fit 180mb partition.

Your problem is rather strange.... have you trimmed the rom?? maybe you messed up something.... or your card is not holding properly

im testing eith only the plain cm11 rom for the past one week...no luck..

 

i must have flashed atleast 15-20 times every night with different partitioning methods 

i tried the following

 

1. minitool

2. cwm 6.0.2.7

3 sdparted ...a big PITA

4 gparted through ubuntu

and again restore the nandroid back in the morning

 

none of them worked

Did you check if you are able to see the SD partition from android ? Like using AParted or something from g play... Maybe it has another name and is not mounted by script.

is the int2ext script working for u ..

in2ext just mount sd-ext full as /data.partion details

show SD-EXT 0B/0B.random stucks and reboot automatically.and a little laggy. eveything will be gone without my sdcard inserted.

11 JAN version reboots without mounting sd-ext sometimes.15JAN WAS FULLY OK WITH THIS.

none of them worked

I would suggest you don't do a nandroid backup... begin a fresh..

one last try.... check with link2sd... if it's able to mount the the card is fine.. if not... and /data is not more.. I don't know what else you could do

Can i just remove ext-sd script from zip? I want to use Mounts2SD: I like it's customizability like kernel swappines and readahead options.

 

Found strange bug with lockscreen, when playing ingress: run ingress, wait some time, turn off the screen via hardware button, wait some time(for clear experiment :) ), turn on screen and we see running ingress.

I see normal lockscreen(and can unlock) if i press Home button on ingress.

 

can you please test with the new build (15.1), i can't verify myself

potential fix: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/57224/  - if anything i'll be including this in the next build, though i didn't test personally since i didn't even encounter the issue..

try wipe cache & dalvik cache, see if it helps..

Helps for a time on 11.1 and then appears again. Didn't noticed with 15.1, seems to be fixed.

Yeah, but that didn't do anything with the gapps, only RIL. I also tried CWM 5. something

no there is a partition also the devices files mmcblk0p2 for it ...

the thing is /sd-ext folder is not getting created...which i think is due to some permission issue...so its not getting mounted...

Today my phone just random rebooted when i went to sleep in my bed..so i just left it as i was sleepy..got up in the morning to find it still in boot screen  :blink:

 

so removed battery ...the phone restarted to find the 'message android is upgrading' the classic cm10.2 bug...which is the sd-ext partition gets lost temporarily ..which is regained but after rebooting again...

 

but this time the phone was still stuck in boot-screen ...maybe it was rebuilding dalvik...but i wasnt patient enough as i had to go to work..

 

i was so badword' angry :angry2:  :angry2:  :angry2: that i almost threw my mobile against a wall :P

 

wiped davlik rebooted again to find all my apps missing...now thought how the f..im i gonna pass my time during my 2-hr travel to work...with no apps and battery @ 27%

thank god had TB backups.. restored gmmp and greader pro

 

 

in short
 

 

tldr;

have to change from cm10.2 to either rootbox or cm11..

but the int2ext isnt working for me for these rom...

now im gonna change the sd-card with my bros' let me see if the issue is resolved

 

 

super short...

 

 

time to get a new phone ...have my eyes on moto g

its the sd-card(16gb samsung if any body is wondering)

works fine in 8gb kingston

 

still dunno why its(16gb) working fine with cm10.2 fresh install..
