Could you add performance options of CyanogenMod 11 to the ROM? Be useful.

Hire you go;

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2401988

& a little reading about it:

http://www.xda-developers.com/android/open-source-performance-control-app-tweaks-cpu-and-more/

Please don't put a stupid things in a system settings menu that are hard to change (update)!

& three are some usable links for kernel add-on's for you two.

I think I have found a way to sync ROM zips up to Google Drive using grive - I am trying it out now. This would mean I can automatically upload the zips as part of my build script.

I have also worked out how to direct link to a file in Google Drive, meaning I can host the OTA update file here too.

This could be the permanent solution for OTA support. I will need to rebuild the ROM to set the new OTA url in SlimCenter.

Ohhh thank you Zola, this performance app is working perfectly on our slim (I have installed BusyBox free from playstore as recommended even if problably slimkat have bb installed i don't know)

The original kernel have some good setting, for example i have set minimum cpu from 320 to 196mhz, set zram 18%, sdreadahead to 2048 and so on.

I think this app is a must have

Now I'm testing this kernel Lirio

http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=747181

nothing special but it offer in addiction an Intellimand governor that I like more than ondemand

Everything seems working well

I tried this kernel with 2.5 build. Was fine for 2 days, slightly smoother then with slim kernel. On third day I've lost cell signal, there was no mobile service at all, wifi and everything else still worked

Hi...

The alarm doesn't work when the phone is off or when I'm charging it in off....

Am I the only one that have this problem?

for the moment here everything is ok, if something goes wrong I will report.

@farfix : it is normal, every rom excluded stock does not wake up if off, only stock because it use fastboot where cpu is in iddle mode and not off.

This happened to me after reflashing.

All I did was to RESET my set chosen notification tone and guess what?

It worked............

Remember I'm not a dev or expert- I'm just an interested user (and a silly old man with a new toy!!!) and im really trying hard to gain more understanding in to the finer points of android development.

Just a message to some of the people asking about the differences between this ROM and cyanogen mod 11......

Why not just try it?

If this ROM is really not to your liking then you can always reflash cm11.

Cant understand why anyone is scared to flash this and just test it.

I can understand peoples reservations and why they ask such questions.

My own personal experience with slimkat and cm11 is slim is far more stabke-no random reboots. No lag. No force closing.

With cm11 I had the opposite.

Audio was stuttery.

Lots of lag.

Lots of random reboots.

Calls dropped for no reason.

Remember, this is my own personal experience and might mean nothing to someone else-simeone may disagree as they are entitled too and say the opposite, but as I said before, I'm no expert, just and interested user trying to be helpful.
