I suppose that "display-caf" is still a work in progress in the Y300's build... because changelog says about display-caf updates.

The changes on SlimKat 9 are the same that slimroms describes?

Pressing the button in the SlimOTA screen does nothing, do I have to download the .zip and flash all over again?

I have tried a dirty and clean flash and have had a lot of issues with link2sd, have to use Fat32 and can’t link all the data

 

Find in general it’s very slow and lags a lot, kept the stock kernel as I think it’s better than one that hasn’t been updated (synopsis)

Have you tested FB Messenger calls?

I don't use SlimKat for VOiP calls, but I want to know if that app works (I'm in 8.18 still)

Slimroms uses two type of sources

One called aosp for nexus devices

The other one called caf for non nexus devices ( like our y300 )

Caf updates are generally related to the caf sources ( not necessarily display/media-caf )
