Questions about new ROM + reverting to old ROM (newbie)

Sorry it's me again. I have decided to stick with custom ROM's and have recently tried a 4.2.2 one (Expert-V4-Final) using TWRP 2.5.0.0.for U8951 (G510).

 

I now want to try KitKat (dazzozo's 4.4.2) but he says to use a recovery updated for 4.3+ (with the EXT4 fix). How do I update from 2.5.0.0?

But do you mean copy the TWRP_2.7.0.1 zip file onto the root directory of SD card and then use the 'Install' button on TWRP 2.5.0.0?

I've now installed the latest TWRP (as per your instructions), dazzozo's KitKat and the Gapps he recommends. Time to play.

Sir is it possible to unlock the bootloader in my device even though the USB debugging mode in the Dev option is unchecked?
