Guest bryfly Posted August 12, 2014 Report Posted August 12, 2014 any news on kit kat update?Be careful with kitkat it could be non rootable certainly in the short term, seehttp://www.oneclickroot.com/android-updates/android-4-4-3-will-break-root-only-apps-and-make-rooting-more-difficult/
Guest h3dshot Posted August 16, 2014 Report Posted August 16, 2014 DriveDroid - I'm using it as workaround for the same issue on my LG L3 with CM9. You can set device file instead of ISO image. It also can set ADB(debugging)+mass storage[+tether] modes. I have no idea how to work that app :S I've also tried other apps on the playstore as well as a terminal emulator command: "su setprop persist.sys.usb.config mass_storage reboot" It enables mass storage but now the pc only recognises a CD Drive (F:) but no way to access it :( I don't suppose you could make a dummies guide to using it via your app?
Guest h3dshot Posted August 17, 2014 Report Posted August 17, 2014 http://www.needrom.com/download/cf1-8297w-kk/ Interesting.
Guest slime00 Posted August 17, 2014 Report Posted August 17, 2014 it's the same version that has been posted in the other topic two days ago! ;)
Guest jakethedooggg Posted August 17, 2014 Report Posted August 17, 2014 Yeah, I uploaded it :) Slime you don't need TWRP 2.7 :D with the CWM or TWRP 2.4.4 you can :D
Guest slime00 Posted August 17, 2014 Report Posted August 17, 2014 yes, I noticed it :) but do you know if the twrp 2.7 exhist and if it's translated in english for our device?
Guest jakethedooggg Posted August 17, 2014 Report Posted August 17, 2014 Nope, I don't know they guy put that you need that recovery, in fact there's no twrp 2.7 :l
Guest slime00 Posted August 17, 2014 Report Posted August 17, 2014 I think iy may exhist :) http://bbs.anzhi.com/thread-8968562-1-1.html but i'm pretty sure it's in chinese! Based on the official recovery 4.4.2 of production, due to official reasons, can not pass key combination to enter recovery, you can enter the command, the follow-up will be perfect. Use, unpack the archive, run inside the bat file torecovery based twrp2.7 production, with version 4.2 before I do support the baseband, imel backup, file management, modify the permissions, root function only 4.4 versions. root method: brush into recovery after long press the power button to boot, choose three to enter the recovery, when asked whether the root device to restart the slide can be. this should be the download link,if someone is interested http://pan.baidu.com/s/1mgIAKNA
Guest jakethedooggg Posted August 17, 2014 Report Posted August 17, 2014 How did you found it! I searched everywhere but nothing D: and thanks for sharing!

Guest K0mmaT1A Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 Hello, If someone can help, I've updated to latest official 4.4.2 official rom (it said wcdma version), but my sims stopped working. I tried restoring to previous backups, changing the etc/firmware files in a lot of roms, and reflashing old working ones, but no luck. I get the message no sims detected. Is there a chance stock rom changed system, radio rom files or others? How can I restore only those to corrent wcdma version?
Guest dakok Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 Hi KOmmaT1A! Which rom did you install? Link? You may restore your nandroid backup if you were smart enough to make one. If everything else fails, you can flash stock rom with one of this methods Coolpad F1 Unbrick tools Soda's factory rom 015 has best score in saving phones :)

Guest prile Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 Hello guys, I haven't been here for a while (little less than 2 months) because, you know, summer and stuff :D I'm running pure aosp by jonzalvo (4.2 i think) on my f1 and it's been perfect, everything's working great, the phone is "flying" through everything, plastic that it's made from is very good and the screen is excellent. Battery holds for about 4 and a half hours of screen on time (1-2 days of use). I have only 1 little thing that I can complain about, and that's the volume of the ringer/notification, the ringer in general. I would like it to be a bit louder, and I know it's possible to do something about it in mtkuncletools and I wanted to ask you what that is, cause i dont know obviously. So, help on guys! I'm really over satisfied with the phone itself!
Guest dakok Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 You better switch to here Too many things happened over here while you were having fun :D
Guest Alg0r1thm Posted November 5, 2014 Report Posted November 5, 2014 I doubt that it will be mtk6595 :) As far as I get that - F2 will be renewed F1 - with LTE modem and probably nothing else to differ it from F1 I second that. Somewhere on gizchina there was a post telling that mediatek has a new mt6592 version with an integrated lte modem which would offer manufacturers the ability to do a simple cpu swap and then revamp existing models. The new pin compatible cpu version could theoretically be changed by a brave user, provided that he gets the chip and has micro bga reballing experience .... Lol
Guest xeros2 Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 If anyone is interrested in Antutu results of Coolpad F2: http://telchina.pl/coolpad-f2-czy-mozna-go-juz-kupic-t13235-36.html#p136217 According to Antutu it is slower than F1. The only benefits are RAM speed, storage performance, OpenGL ES 3.0, 64-bit CPU & LTE, everything else is worse than on F1 (or ROM is not optimized yet). For multi-threading CPU is even 2 times slower, everything else (single-thread CPU, GPU, etc. results) benchmark counters are a bit worse than F1 but not that much. Compare yourself with results that you get on F1.
Guest Mouratti Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Hello Guys My coolpad F1 start now with strange things.
