I got a neat looking silicone mask, charger with Eu adapter and a few gifts. (stylus pen,stand, screen protector, that fish for headphones, USB card reader...) I'll put cwm later, make a mangrove backup and try out the 029 lite rom. Edit2: whats the 029 lite like? Is it this same rom without tthe bloatware? Guest Maringer Posted July 7, 2014 Report Share Posted July 7, 2014 It's the .015 in the build number which indicates the version of software you have, so that is one of the older ones (though still perfectly sound). I'm using emjot's MIUI which is good, but may give one of the 'lite' Coollife ROMs a try later this week if I find the time. Guest dakok Posted July 7, 2014 Report Share Posted July 7, 2014 You won't get update since it is rooted. Wait few more days for the rom change since 035 factory rom is announced to be out soon. If it autoupdates by some magic, don't worry since it can be rooted now without problem. If you decide to flash 029 lite, there's a new release from yesterday. Take a look at the apps: (I've added tapatalk whatsapp and maps) And that's it. I've tried to set some things like transparent statusbar, clock in the middle of status bar, quick settings change, but none of those work after reboot... Do you maybe know the reason? This was a couple of months ago, however, so my memory is a little hazy on the matter! I now use the WSM tools mod on MIUI which provides xposed-style functions and this works as well. I've played with it a little but not enough to comment much... I use Textra for messaging in case that's of any use. Come to the dark side (MIUI) ON COOLPAD rom the led will still blink for sms+phone call even if you are using a different app instead. Guest prile Posted July 9, 2014 Report Share Posted July 9, 2014 I'm getting annoyed by the few things in my rom: - I set the swiftkey keyboard for default and it keeps getting android keyboard back after a few uses. - With whatsapp I had to manually put some notification sound cause by default there was no sound - Yesterday I installed all my apps, and this morning when i click on tapatalk i get the message "app isn't installed". The same thing with tasker. I put them back again, rebooted the phone later and again with tasker I get "app isn't installed". When I put it up back again, it has all my profiles saved, but the app just goes away... - That default message app is so bad, I mean getting the sent and recieved messages of the same person in different chats....
