Guest wbrambley Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 (edited) I don't know. You can provide me a link to the post of Dazozzo? http://www.modaco.com/topic/365931-jb-431-cyanogenmod-102-rom-all/?p=2186124 and possibly others I seem to remember more about it here: http://g300.valicek.name/index.php but that would be a big search to find a few comments. some stuff here: http://g300.valicek.name/show.php?day=2013-12-17 Edited July 13, 2014 by wbrambley
Guest juanpablocastillo Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 (edited) Tnx for the links. In the first link, I can see that. Dazzozo maybe try new libs without update the kernel related stuff (Or I don't know, I'm a noob in programming). I'm talking of use libs for KitKat, and updated KGSL stuff. (Again, I'm a noob) In the second link, I not founded nothing about adreno stuff. Only some freedreno related conversation, and part of the reason of why Dazzozo leaves the development of Android. It's very sad. ( :( ) Thirty link: Again, he refered to change the libs without update the GPU stuff. Edited July 13, 2014 by juanpablocastillo

Guest SaurabhRCk Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 0 lag in gta san andreas (with swapdragonx) and good life battery the rom you are using?
Guest spanitzer Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 Huh, this last kernel works on CM 10.1 like a never before. UI flying. Benchmark also shows. On Antutu reaches about 9000, and nenamark2 32.x fps. Can you make a Screenshot please?
Guest Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 (edited) Android got an non-mainlined kernel tuneable in /proc/sys/vm/min_free_order_shift By default the kernel tries to keep half as much memory free at each order as it does for one order below. This can be too agressive when running without swap. Linux default: 1 Android default: 4 It might be "useful" to reduce this value in case of using SWAP and/or ZRAM. I didn't analyze the effects oft his value, yet. So I can't say what happens if you reduce it. Just figure out what value fits best for your device Edited July 13, 2014 by Guest
Guest TayoOnabule Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 Modding, i just wanted to say that though we all have an unwavering adoration for these phones that have given us so much strife, health and well-being should still be a priority. So if at any point you start to feel slightly annoyed, a little upset or suicidal, it's only phone and you can stop at any point. That said, your kernel is really awesome and all your hair-pulling has paid off in 99% of the things you've tried (and shown us). Eff those KGSL drivers, we didn't need 'em anyway.
Guest juanpablocastillo Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 moddingg33k: There is something I can not understand. Why you revert the KGSL updates, if the problem was the LCD updates? Or there is some that I forgiven to read?
Guest fonz93 Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 (edited) From what i did understand, KGSL updates doesn't work with CM ROMs and LCD updates sometimes gave problems of waking up the phone from deep sleep Edited July 13, 2014 by fonz93
Guest Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 Like fonz said already, CM based ROMs didn't boot anymore with those KGSL patches. I even revert them before removing LCD patches, too.
Guest juanpablocastillo Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 Exactly, CM ROMs, stock ROMs don't have noticeable regressions. That's I cannot understand.
Guest juanpablocastillo Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 And some users reported that the kernel works in CM11 (or KitKat based ROMs) without regressions.
Guest Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 (edited) I've done some minor code cleanup. No new features, no functional changes. In case you wonder about the new MIN_CPU_Frequency, read this: http://www.modaco.com/topic/372980-kernel-bug-report-acpuclock-7627-frequency-table-selection/ This time I provide different updated builds: DOWNLOAD: http://www77.zippyshare.com/v/82422040/file.html GPU OC @320 Mhz: http://www13.zippyshare.com/v/11031563/file.html GPU OC & KGLS/LCD patches: http://www44.zippyshare.com/v/12216443/file.html (still not working ) Edited July 14, 2014 by Guest

Guest juanpablocastillo Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 (edited) [*off- topic*] GERMANY won football world championship! [/*off- topic*] -More off-topic- Yes, I'm Argentinian. No problem with Germany to win because they played well, 24 years since Argentina don't get the final we came to do, and that's enough. -End Off-topic- Edited July 13, 2014 by juanpablocastillo
Guest Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 (edited) Both teams played well and fought really hard. Argentina was unlucky that they didn't get their goal counted :/ Edited July 13, 2014 by Guest
