essential Gapps for 4.4 http://d-h.st/lGj

After installing your favorite ROM, follow the steps below to install gapps...
1) Copy Your Gapps zip to sdcard
2) Boot into recovery
3) Wipe cache/dalvik
4) Flash YourZgapps zip from sdcard*
5) Wipe cache/dalvik
6) Reboot system and enjoy!

the recovery is fine, we don't have the latest translated yet, but the old ones work for now!

Don't know if this is related to above stuff

but here are two advices for troubles with

Google services.

When you can't pass Google's setup screen

right after flashing gapps, do this:

Pull down the top of the screen and enter

settings and there you will add new Google account.

If Google cannot connect to servers,

find hosts file in system with a root explorer

and remove everything inside it below the first line of code.

Leave only the first line

When i enter my email it immediately says error communicating without even trying to connect....will try that later maybe or wait for some other versions due to my other problems with lucky patcher not able to patch anything and mobile uncle not able to put me in the recovery

There's only one line in hosts file and that is 127.0.0.1 localhost

There is a new version on needrom of the kikkat aosp, that fixes the broken proximity sensor!

Doesn't have root access and can't root with vroot

But,30373 is the score in v5 Antutu :D

Just tuning back in and trying to catch up after a few weeks off on holidays.

Sorry if this is a dumb or repeated question but can somebody clarify what AOSP ROMs are available and which is considered the most stable?

I know of the jonzalvo ASOP and Pure AOSP (what's the difference?) and that these are available from Needrom.

Is Needrom the authoritative source for them or is it necessary to check the Spanish forum(s?) for the latest versions - moviledualsim, other?

What other AOSPs are there and what are the differences between these and jonzalvo's?

Thanks a lot.

Flash the rom, then flash the supersu file that you find on needrom.

You are spamming the whole world with your root problems, its clear that you shoud root properly.

1) Install rom.

2) Boot phone.

3) Reboot recovery.

4) Wipe cache + dalvik

5) Flash supersu.zip

6) Wipe cache + dalvik

All should be good.

I have the same problem, nothing worked although I'm experienced in all this stuff and also looked on every forum about that. My only clue is that TB won't work with any ROM with SuperSU installed, only with Kinguser.

TB worked me when I had Kinguser probably, then I installed SuperSU and busybox and then I got the "parse error".

I have it too, and you can't restore, too. :/

I just restored missing apps with Rom toolbox pro, i have supersu installed.

I am using the latest 4.4 AOSP from needrom (the new variant)
