For spland's material, if you don't want onscreen buttons, edit your build.prop and set "qemu.hw.mainkeys" to 1

Apologies if this has been dealt with before but I can't see an answer here or elsewhere.

Is there any way to disable the capacitive button haptic feedback on the Coolpad F1?

I detect haptic feedback  but can't see any way to disable it for the capacitive buttons.

In case ROM matters I'm currently using this one: http://www.modaco.com/topic/374249-rom-442-aosp-nitro-a310-v3-repack/page-9#entry2257054

Thanks.

Edit: sorry - scratch that - found it .... User profiles > General > Settings > Vibrate on touch = uncheck.

:)

Is it possible to flash a kernel from MMX nitro v3 to another rom?

And how to do it, if possible :)

(I need microphone recording capabilities from that rom)

You have to unpack the boot images with Android Kitchen and replace the zImage file.

First test it; either the one from Lan's rom or the one that I've modified for my Material rom (it's stock 35 with init.d and zram enabled)

Maybe you won't have to do anything else. But have a backup ready, just in case, none of them work for your rom

If not, then you'd have to unpack the kernel you want to modify (you'd need an android kitchen for that) and compare its mount points with the one contained in the one from Lan's rom (use a diff program for that; I use beyond compare). Then repack the kernel and switch your modified boot.img for the one contained on the patch (keep the platform.xml file)

Maybe it's not exactly user friendly, but it's not that difficult either

FIUI Beta v3, it seems a lot of things have been improved! http://bbs.ydss.cn/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=550659

has anyone tried this?

i cant flash it with any recovery...

reboot into logo after flashing @@

formatted /system in recovery does the job ,,

the fiui launcher needs clear application data cache, and after that it works fine...

GPS is VERY slow, and doesnt work most of the time

The same thing over here.

I can flash it with TWRP 2.6, it is verly light and fluent with only 2 icons and without SIM card recognition (mine is in slot #2)

After reboot it reboots at logo.

Here's what chinese say (almost :))

Go to Settings - where is - fiui launcher - clear application data cache , but I suggest force stop too

Here's a review:

First, GPS measurement can not be used many times and can not afford to press too close positioning of the icon on the status bar.
Second, the automatic rotation can not be used (gravity sensor)
Third, the less power.

1. Immersion status bar get very good
2 Andrews bottom package 4.44 bar, fluency is very good, but personally do not like direct push effect
3 Anyway particularly useful, if the GPS with gravity sensors and power that few things right, really a lot better than MIUI6.
Personal opinion, do not like do not spray.
Large hard gods friends.

does anyone knows a way to fix BesLoudness from audio profiles that keeps turning itself on after deactivating it?

I ve seen it in many roms and right now on iNew (from the russian dev,not the plus one)

Apart from that its a very decent aosp and everything is working

Hey, I made a Coolpad F1 Toolkit.

Features:

1. It can auto-install ADB, Fastboot and all drivers

2. Reboot System, Recovery, Bootloader

3. Root

4. Auto install APK directly from PC

5. Install insecure ADB binaries (via adbd insecure app)

6. Backup/Restore (via ADB)

7. Automaticly flash ROM or any other ZIP directly from PC

8. Made in Croatia

It has no viruses but for some reason some AntiVirus-es detect as a virus. (If you want to I can PM the Source code to you so you can check.)

If you want to you can include it in the Easy Peasy section.

Is there any kind of patch for SD issues with Kit Kat roms? I've got AOSP Nitro A310 v3 repack rom installed and once a week makes my SD card corrupt and it says "SD card unmounted unexpectedly", I reboot the phone and still not recognizing it so I've got to plug in a SD reader in the PC, format it and it works again... until the next week.

I bought a new SD card and after some weeks it got broken... I don't know what to do...

If the same ROM corrupted more than one sdcard then try another ROM.

If this happens on different ROMs then perhaps it's a hardware issue?

Anything unusual about your sdcard usage?
