it seems the same (or almost the same) as the one we were talking some time ago, it was advised as 4.4.4 but it's a 4.4.2... if in build.prop the code of the version is KOT49H then it's 4.4.2, for 4.4.4 should be KTU84P

MIUI 5.3.29

Complex work on minor issues. Basis 5.3.27.

LINK - NEEDROM

Is good and i (we...) like the fact that you do continuous improvements in your Miui!

One question:

Is possible to install the new version over the older, using the OTA update file. What kind of wipes are necessary? Cache & dalvik wipes? or no wipes?

If you install OTA Update - wipes not needed.

If you install BIG ROM update - wipe Dalvik Cache

if you instal BIG ROM - not as an upgrade - then I recommend full wipe before install - Wipe Data, Dalvik, Cache, Internal Storage

does your miui rom need twrp recovery to be installed correctly?or you can install it with cwm 6050 too?I am asking because i had some issues with the rom a few versions ago, like 3g issues. Is it possible that cwm was to blame?I always install clean with multiple rounds of wipes from recovery and i never had problems with roms. But that time with miui installed via cwm there was this issue.

anyone else that flashed miui with cwm6050 without problems?

Installation is possible from CWM or TWRP. Use myself TWRP 2.8.1.0 with MTP.

Just flashed miui 5329, using twrp 244. No problem at all

In the screenshot I see programa for ROOT. This will lead to errors! ROOT Access is in the application security - permission - ROOT! Titanium restores applications caches and paths settings. That too will lead to errors!

Didn't know that..

I was in a hurry.

Just installed miui, titanium, restored lgcamera for the needs of an experiment, took a shot.

No problem at all. No crashes.

Thats all

I'm back to oppo find 7 rom

I'm not a fun of miui's... :)

Thanks for the advice.. ;)

You can see it says P5000. This is probably a port from the CM build for Elephone P5000, which has some basic hardware similarities to F1. How did P5000 get CM? Quote Gizchina:

"Elephone are really embracing the development community that has sprung up around their brand, and thanks to private developer efforts 6 new ROM options will be made available for the Elephone P5000.

Elephone has stressed that these ROMs are fan made  (possibly just to avoid legal action) and will be made available for all Elephone P5000 users to take advantage of very soon. The ROM options include MIUI, Cyanogenmod, EMUI, Touchwhizz, YunOS and stock Android. It appears that each ROM version is built on Android 4.4 Kitkat, but at the current rate of development Lollipop versions should be available soon."
