@H3ROS

I have a suggestion: I think that from now on you should use a version number for roms/updates/kernels, and keep all the download links on the first (or second) post, so that ppl can find everything in one place...

I already have the ROM installed when updates 2 came out, so i only flashed the update 2, anyway, the update 1 is not required, it is included in the ROM zip.

I suggest you to flash update 2 just after the ROM, because in the update 2 the are 2 framework files and they'll wipe dalvik cache

OK, let's try, thanks!

In the first post there is the instruction to flash the rom.
What means "Wipe everything but your SD card"? Do I need to wipe also the SD card?

no, wipe everything except the SD*: boot, system, data, custom, android_secure, internal_sd... guys, did I forget anything?

[edit] * we are talking of the external SD, obviously

strange! I've noticed just now that when connected to the PC through the USB cable, the PC sees 3 devices: the internal SD, the external SD and... a CD unit!  :blink:

My Google Calendar notifications don't work, even in another rom (fusionX) ! So i think there's something wrong with my data, i remove greenify and some other apps that may be the cause, but it doesn't work anymore. I know it's not concerning your rom but if you have any idea i would appreciate ! Thanks

Edit : Maybe i didn't do all the wipes before restore, i will try !

/system/etc/init.d/01extra

I think you have to delete echo "1536,3072,4096,21000,23000,25000" > /sys/module/lowmemorykiller/parameters/minfree;

So:

flashed the last rom version and update 2, restored everything from titanium backup, and antutu scored 6596.

Then I modified 01extra putting a # in front of the minfree line, set the governor as interactive and frequencies 196 - 1046 and it scored 7016...

better, but still far from the values I've read in this thread...

Gps draining battery like crazy with modding kernel,it goes down like 5-7% in few minutes,luckily i have a charger.

Heros could you please add your kernel to download list,battery lasts much longer with your kernel.

I don't want to update experimental update,so when the real update comes out i'll have to reflash the rom,i don't need that.

its only just for me..dont know if i have a same result to the others..

When doing a benchmark you might want to set the governor to performance. Also I noticed that AnTuTu has a visual glitch with version 4.5 but with version 4.4 it's fine.

I'm likely going to wrap up update 2 and call it final either later today or tomorrow.

Do you have the experimental update installed? It can be found a few pages back.

As for the people suggesting that I add some kind of version information to the ROM, I'm trying to avoid doing that because I want the ROM to look like an AOSP version of the stock ROM. That's why I use the same kernel version string, boot animation and even include a few of the Huawei ringtones. And after the next update the ROM could be considered final since there are no more obvious bugs.

He did, but the update 2 is experimental so he didn't include, the update 1 is included in the ROM link in the first page

@H3ROS:

just 2 questions

- can you add a shutdown as a widget button? There is a reboot button but not a shotdown, just to save the physical button to be pressed or save life if user has the physical button broken.

- can you add a media scan service on - off? this can solve problem when user boot the device and want play game. Media scan is a resurce eater:

this option is present in slimkat rom and others, just an idea
