Guest farfix Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 @farfix For file transters bluetooth will work fine with all kernels. It's stereo bluetooth headsets that custom kernels currently have a problem with on stock based ROM's. Only the official kernel allows the stereo headsets to work correctly. @H3ROS It's OK, then... I only was looking for the file transfer hability, because I still use wired headphones and ceXstel's kernel doesn't allow me sending files via BT in this ROM :)
Guest Takamoto Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Update to the latest version, there are no wakelocks with it. I have 6.1.83 the last google play service.
Guest ivograca Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 I'm using modding33k's kernel and 0 problems with BT :)uploadfromtaptalk1414462835755.jpg How can i instalação this kernel?
Guest krux3r Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Wanna report one Clock app bug. On the alarm switch, the text on the toggle gets cut off. It should say "ukljuceno" or "iskljuceno" Look: While it should be spelled like here: Fix that if possible. Its Croatian language btw.
Guest muxa1980 Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 1. I think not. This rom comes rooted. 2. You must first unlock bootloader, then install recovery, I prefer TWRP. 3. Yes, before installation you need to do a full wipe, but make a backup first of your stock rom, just in case. I unlocked the bootloader, but I then installed the new firmware. Does this unlock the bootloader? I tried to install TWRP through recovery mode but I failed :(
Guest H3ROS Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 (edited) @krux3r That looks wrong in general. I don't think the buttons are supposed to scale like that. I guess it's a bad translation, so I'll copy it from the settings menu and will release it soonish. I might send it to you in a PM, but save it until I put out another ROM update. @muxa1980 Once your bootloader is unlocked and you've got TWRP installed all you need to do is download the ROM (not the update) and place it on your SD card. Be sure that you put it on your SD card and not the internal memory. Next you'll want to backup your existing ROM to your SD card via TWRP. Once that's complete you can go to wipe and select to wipe everything apart from your SD card. Point the installer to the ZIP file and it should tell you when you're safe to reboot. Guest juanpablocastillo Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 H3ROS: About this line "persist.sys.force_highendgfx", how it works? Because I only see that line on custom KitKat ROMs.
Guest krux3r Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 @H3ROS I bet its the translation, it should just say "Uklj" instead of "Ukljuceno" and "Isklj" instead of "Iskljuceno". Its kind of shortened. Thanks for fixing.
Guest muxa1980 Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 The problem was that I could not install TWRP Recovery from. I did it using fastboot. Installed ROM and I'm fascinated by how smoothly! Thank you H3ROS! Bug (or not): Capacitive buttons do not light !? Sory for bad enlish :)
Guest quest679 Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 hey I'd like to know if video call on hangouts works on this rom..thanks
Guest Mirke Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 google play error when installing any app: rpc:s-7:aec-7 - deleted account / re adding -> nothing - Installing new google play, and google play services, then restart -> nothing - Wiping cache data, dalvik from TWRP -> nothing Is there anything it can be done, or should I go back to 10.1 by Fonz? Thanks
Guest farfix Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 How can i instalação this kernel? Just download the zip and flash it like a ROM (but without wipes) Maybe you can wipe dalvik and cache...
Guest LotR656 Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 H3ROS: About this line "persist.sys.force_highendgfx", how it works? Because I only see that line on custom KitKat ROMs. If i remember well, it is for dime screen when you pulling down status bar.hey I'd like to know if video call on hangouts works on this rom..thanks Works on Skype, calls via Viber works so I think Hangouts too.
Guest H3ROS Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 (edited) H3ROS: About this line "persist.sys.force_highendgfx", how it works? Because I only see that line on custom KitKat ROMs. I backported a feature and used the same string name so that things are consistent. My JB ROM is the only one to have it. With it enabled you'll notice smoother and extra animations in areas. Backgrounds that were previously black (e.g. settings > about phone > status) will now have an actual dithered background. I've pre-patched my SystemUI too, so it's smoother than the Huawei stock ROM's as well as all other ROM's based on the Huawei stock ROM's. Bug (or not): Capacitive buttons do not light !? You should only see the lights if you're in the dark. 1. Turn your screen off 2. Put your thumb over the top left side of the phone, next to the Huawei logo 3. Turn your screen on and unlock the phone while keeping your thumb in place You should notice that the lights glow. Keeping them off when they're not needed saves battery :) hey I'd like to know if video call on hangouts works on this rom..thanks For Talk it does, so it should for Hangouts too unless Google messed something up. google play error when installing any app: rpc:s-7:aec-7 Redownload and reinstall the ROM. It sounds as if something (maybe the cache) didn't get cleared correctly before installing the ROM. Edited October 29, 2014 by H3ROS
Guest LotR656 Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 How to lock Google keyboard in memory? Because with Xposed modul doesnt work or i should lock few more components?
Guest 1mahdimf Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 i install rom and show rom installed but phone not boot and i look /system in twrp file manager files are not copyed. sorry my en is bad.
Guest LotR656 Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 (edited) Did you wiped everything? Edited October 29, 2014 by LotR656
Guest 1mahdimf Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 Yes. I think problem in updater-script.(file are not copyed)
Guest matteussz_ Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 You have to mount /system in TWRP, otherwise you won't see the files.
Guest H3ROS Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 Check the zip file isn't corrupt. The issue won't be with the update-script because if it was nobody would be able to install the ROM. 1. Check the zip 2. Disable zip verification 3. Update TRWP if you're using an old version
Guest 1mahdimf Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 1. Zip file ok. 2. disable 3. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BzzAs01nVR1DMnVRXzlIOXFRSDg&usp=sharing#list
Guest H3ROS Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 I'm not sure what to tell you. If its a Y300-0151, Y300-0100 or a G510 then it should work. It won't work on the dual SIM Y300 though. It's not a ROM problem because it works for everyone else.
Guest krux3r Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 One guy on xda haves a dual sim Y300-0000 and only thing that doesnt work for him is that sim isnt recognized after flashing. No flashing problems in recovery.
Guest dus40 Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 Sometimes, SMS notifications doesn't work. I think it's when i leave sms app open, then lock the phone. When sms arrive, there's no led blink, no sound, no vibration. When i unlock, no notification in satus bar, but there's an unread sms in the thread. In other cases, led blink, sound and vibration works normally. I use the stock app, anyone noticed this ? Thx
Guest Takamoto Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 It's normal this supersu status?
