Guest punkzerboy Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 What about freedreno and new Linux kernel? I read something about it. I could be our last chance... (?
Guest Y300-0100 Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 (edited) What about freedreno and new Linux kernel? I read something about it. I could be our last chance... (? Guest Domstadt Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 (edited) What does these drops mean? And btw. Sometimes the com.system.ui (or something like that) crashes. Especially after taking Screenshots. Edit: during this post I lost 7%, wtf. I'm using tapatalk for this post. Edited September 16, 2014 by Domstadt

Doesn't seems to work 4.Lots of options Thanks Y300-0100 for you effort..worth it Will see the battery life Ps Pashupama'S L theme works :D Edit-Button backlight is high :O the build prop option isn's there Sometime i gets process android.acore stopped message...any tip? Edt found it..it's because i restored contact with tb Edited September 16, 2014 by SH3H1
Guest fonz93 Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 (edited) 1.Transparent status bar isn't active by default. Edit-Button backlight is high :o the build prop option isn's there Not all developers wants it enabled by default, it can affect performance and it takes some RAM (around 5-8 MB, almost due to the DIM effect when you expand notification drawer) There is no build.prop option in all custom ROMs, you have to edit this sys tuneable "sys/class/leds/button-backlight/max_brightness", setting it to 50, should be like 20 on stock ROM, you will have to do this at each boot, or you can make an init.d script. Guest Y300-0100 Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 Well, I dont know what is that big fuzz about transparent status bar for every ROM. To see what is under? Come on we all know what is down there. Like fonz said clean ROM offer what it offer if we dont like that we got Play Store :) @Domstadt. (this is not replay just for you )Those drops in battery stats you mentioned. You noticed straight green line for let say 3 hour of not touching phone. Phone didnt use battery in that time? Of course that is not accurate it did do consumption but it was not registered like in even on stock ROM. When you activate your phone again it is normal to reactivate battery stat and that drop of 7% is not from just using tapatalk. Its 3 hour of standby + what ever you done before you enter to see your battery stat. Random reboots, crashes. Huh mmm. Reading a LOT of posts in a lot of topic it seems that many people suffer that problem ( and some claim otherwise??). Now another hmm. What could cause of that? Bad flash? Titanium backup? Dev changed something? Devs from CM, Slim, PAC, Liquid etc made a bad commit? cwm or twrp didnt quite wipe everything? (did anyone look up between changing roms existence little remains of previous rom? I dont think so.) Conclusion: All of above could be reason. Some option don work: They haven't be implemented yet or not compatible with our device like screen recording. But in this case again Play Store. Adreno 203, 205, qualcomm update.... Mentioned a million times and still million to go. Single posts like dont work this, dont work that. As someone mentioned earlier its pointless without proper logcat (my blender doesn't work :D and that is it). In this post I was not referring to anybody in particular I was speaking in general.
Guest Y300-0100 Posted September 16, 2014 Report Posted September 16, 2014 sources on my github: Anyone want to improve something be my guest. Suggestions (commit) here:https://github.com/Y300-0100 And something from first post.
Guest UliZ Posted September 17, 2014 Report Posted September 17, 2014 soon I will upload build for u8825 based on latest chil changes. Because I dont know devise and I dont want to brick anyone phone here is updater-script for g330 users to see is that it: link for g330 rom and g510 new with added EEDATA.cfg wil be soon at first post. Just installed the LS-KK-v3.2-2014-09-14-u8951-new.zip, now the "Root Browser" app shows EEDATA.cfg in /system/etc with Permissions: Owner RW, Group R, Others R. However, a logcat dump says: I/NfcService( 819): Enabling NFC E/ ( 819): EEDATA_CONF_FILE in. E/ ( 819): EEDATA_CONF_FILE, file not exist. E/ ( 819): EEDATA_CONF_FILE in. E/ ( 819): EEDATA_CONF_FILE, file not exist. Regarding U8951 with/without NFC: As far as I know Huawei delivered two types of G510: G510-100 with NFC support and G510-200 without NFC suport.
Guest Y300-0100 Posted September 17, 2014 Report Posted September 17, 2014 Please UliZ, delete libpn544_fw.so. Because user from htc mania reported that after deletion of that file transfer between two devices worked but he didn't had any tag to test. Some ROMs don't need that file or reports it as obsolete firmware. This is in first post

Very smooth and no reboots after setting up the Rom for me. Not by me. Devs has to fix it I think in frameworks/native/services/batteryservice/IBatteryPropertiesRegistrar. Version 3.2 rolled out not so long ago so there is still no official stable 3.2 ROM. We will have to wait.
