Guest dakok Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Borsosg's post gave me an idea about this topic. So, if you have a successful, long time freezing session, share your experience here. :) List of apps that can be uninstalled / freezed in official CoolUI 5.5 (CoolLife UI) 041 (4.2.2 android) - Borsosg's proposition My favorite tool for blocking unwanted apps is this one. Be careful and don't delete everything that looks suspicious. Certain roms have an option to block or hide apps, so you can use that option, too.
Guest korekore1 Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 (edited) My favorite tool for blocking unwanted apps is this one. is there a difference between using this tool and just deleting them from system/app with root explorer? Edited September 18, 2014 by korekore1
Guest dakok Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 (edited) There is You have User and System app section and there is Recycle bin for restoring "deleted" apps. In System app section you can distinguish what's OK to delete - some apps have a red mark stating (should keep) or (key module) You have app icons there to guess what might be unimportant (china market apps or games...)
