Guest dakok Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 I keep clicking on the green reputation button, but it won't accept more than one input :D
Guest moulnisky Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 Actually I saw it before :) BR Alex
Guest dakok Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 (edited) Downloaded and unpacked. There is a CPB format rom inside and the file name is: 4.4.030.P0.140808.8297W_I01.CPB So, it's Coolpad F1 without doubt. The only question is if YGDP tool will accept our phone as I01 compatible device :) This is phoneinfo.yl content: [VER_Compatibility] VER = 1.00; SUM = ; [PDA_Compatibility] ProductName = 8297W_I01; [PCB_Compatibility] CheckEnable = 1; u8HardwareVersionMajor = P0,P1,P2; u8HardwareVersionAux = ; u8HardwareRF_NV = ; [DEV_Compatibility] CheckEnable = 0; [EMMC_Compatibility] CheckEnable = 0; eMMC_Count = 2 ; eMMC_CID0 = 1101003030384739320093252FCA70B3; VersionCheck0 = ">=00" ; eMMC_CID1 = 1501004D3847314743038E04FBD4503D; VersionCheck1 = ">=03" ; EDIT: phoneinfo.yl content is the same as the one from Coolpad F1 stock rom except for ProductName = code line Edited September 25, 2014 by dakok
Guest jakethedooggg Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 So it's the first Unicom beta?? :O
Guest Milanche78 Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 How to flash this rom, I already have Coolpad F1 drivers installed, do I need to install these too? Whats the procedure?
Guest xeros2 Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 Nice, but 4.4.030 dated as 140808 would probably be Android 4.4 like other rebranded phones, not 4.4.2.
Guest slime00 Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 (edited) Actually I saw it before :) BR AlexThat's why i've said in Europe! :) Let's thank the original uploader, moulnisky :) Edited September 24, 2014 by slime00
Guest dakok Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 (edited) @xeros2 You mean like Hinix phone? I extracted Coolpad 036 official CPB and the only difference in phoneinfo.yl is ProductName = 8297W; vs ProductName = 8297W_I01; from Nitro phone Could someone compare Hinix and Nitro files in DownFiles map (CPB extracted in YGDP) Edited September 24, 2014 by dakok
Guest martinoff Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 can't get to work, i flash it with sp tools but there are some difference for sure no boot, stack on logo and very small letter in left corner factory boot i try to flash it with the original recovery.img from 0.20/0.39 but no luck i try to change and boot.img mbr and all that files (excluding system,cache,userdata) but no luck at all well somebody else have to try it now, must turn my bricked phone to previous situation :p
Guest dakok Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 Did you try to flash it with YGDP tool? Did you compare that extracted folders from Himax and Micromax CPB roms?
Guest Arpione Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) Good news guys. This rom works just as good (if not better) as the hymax one. I made a flashable zip with SuperSU, Titanium Backup and Mobile Uncle Tools, the only problem is that it shows an exclamation mark in a red circle with some chinese text on boot, although it continues to boot just fine. Antutu v8.1 score: 30916 3D score: 6640; I'm not sure how this compares to other kitkat roms. Oh and it really is 4.4.2:) If anyone could tell me what causes the exclamation mark at boot that would be great, I don't want to share a faulty rom. edit: I tried to debug the cause of the exclamation mark but debugging doesn't work even when it's enabled, adb can't see the phone. Guest dakok Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 Could you make a screenshot somehow so we could search for relevant matter through google image service?
Guest laek.17 Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 I will post the zip asap with all deodexed
Guest slime00 Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) Is the rom multilanguage? I still didn't had the possibility to try it since i'm far from home! That exclamation mark was present also in some others 4.4 roms, could it be something related to the old recoveries we use? Edited September 25, 2014 by slime00
Guest Arpione Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 No, it's a red circle with the exclamation mark on it and 4 chinese symbols below. It appears for a sec between the boot logo and the boot animation.
Guest jakethedooggg Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 No, it's a red circle with the exclamation mark on it and 4 chinese symbols below. It appears for a sec between the boot logo and the boot animation. It's a common problem of earlier KK roms, I remember having it with first KK CoolUI's.

Guest jakethedooggg Posted October 12, 2014 Report Posted October 12, 2014 Did u managed to solve this? I also have the exclamation point after installing other ROM. I saw you have to disable the fast boot in accessibility settings.
Guest BrocasHelm Posted October 12, 2014 Report Posted October 12, 2014 That red circle with the exclamation point appears when you flash a KK rom over a JB. I assume you have the old coolpad logo, the one with the axe. Try to flash a KK logo and the red circle will dissapear. You can try to flash a logo like this for example: https://www.sendspace.com/file/9qt0o0 and it will dissapear.
