Guest Jpower73 Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) :D Patience, my son.. Almost 2 hours screen and 75pc. This means more than 7,5 hours screen time. Even so, I'm satisfied. (my previous phone was an Inew V3. So, you know what I'm talking about.. :)) Edited October 9, 2014 by Jpower73
Guest xeros2 Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) Offtopic, but take a look at that: Laek.17's AOSP 4.4.2 v3 1-2h call's per day, some chats, forums, web browsing, mails (4-7 times a day), 30-40 photos each day (only few using flash) and around 3 hours music on earphones at max volume today on travel to/from work. I use CM Battery Doctor, brightness: auto, 2G only, WIFI only when needed. Edited October 10, 2014 by xeros2
Guest Arpione Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 There's no way that battery still has 41% left. Check the voltage with some app like Battery Monitor Widget, if the voltage is below 3.6V then put it on charger immediately. Li-Ion batteries get damaged if they're drained below 3.6V, that's when the phone should show 0% (100% is 4.2V, although this phone has a magical battery that charges to 4.33V).
Guest xeros2 Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 Thanks. You were right, it has already switched off.
Guest korekore1 Posted October 12, 2014 Report Posted October 12, 2014 (edited) any working fix to allow apps to write on the ext sd? edit:solved --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/kitkat-sd-card-access-t2790992 Edited October 12, 2014 by korekore1

I've made some checks at kernel side. Indeed it's set to PowerOff when battery voltage goes down to 3.4V! The same voltage is set to allow switch on the phone: root@Coolpad8297:/ # cat /sys/bus/platform/devices/battery/Power_Off_Voltage 3400 root@Coolpad8297:/ # cat /sys/bus/platform/devices/battery/Power_On_Voltage 3400 Unfortunately it doesn't allow to change it using /sys/... tree. root@Coolpad8297:/ # cat /sys/bus/platform/devices/battery/power_supply/battery/uevent POWER_SUPPLY_NAME=battery POWER_SUPPLY_STATUS=Charging POWER_SUPPLY_HEALTH=Good POWER_SUPPLY_PRESENT=1 POWER_SUPPLY_TECHNOLOGY=Li-ion POWER_SUPPLY_CAPACITY=31 POWER_SUPPLY_BATT_VOL=3974 POWER_SUPPLY_BATT_TEMP=310 POWER_SUPPLY_TEMPERATURER=6162 POWER_SUPPLY_TEMPBATTVOLTAGE=481 POWER_SUPPLY_INSTATVOLT=3974 POWER_SUPPLY_BATTERYAVERAGECURRENT=1004 POWER_SUPPLY_BATTERYSENSEVOLTAGE=3974 POWER_SUPPLY_ISENSEVOLTAGE=4036 POWER_SUPPLY_CHARGERVOLTAGE=4749 POWER_SUPPLY_STATUS_2ND=Not charging POWER_SUPPLY_CAPACITY_2ND=50 POWER_SUPPLY_PRESENT_2ND=0 and power supply provides 4.73V: root@Coolpad8297:/ # cat /sys/bus/platform/devices/battery/power_supply/battery/ChargerVoltage 4730 Isn't it too high? Besides that it looks like kernel supports "wireless" charging (anyway, I would expect that there is hardware for it in our phones): root@Coolpad8297:/ # ls -l /sys/bus/platform/devices/battery/power_supply/ drwxr-xr-x root root 2014-10-10 17:57 ac drwxr-xr-x root root 2014-10-10 17:57 battery drwxr-xr-x root root 2014-10-10 17:57 usb drwxr-xr-x root root 2014-10-10 17:57 wireless
Guest Arpione Posted October 12, 2014 Report Posted October 12, 2014 That 4.73V is probably the minimum charging voltage since the charger should supply 5V. Practically any phone can support wireless charging if you can buy a convereter kit for it (which is just a thin flat coil and maybe some circuitry) that goes between the battery and the back cover, like this (that tab goes between the battery's and the phone's pins): We just have to wait for one that's made for the F1 :)

Guest dakok Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 I saw something like that before. GPS can be fully functional without gps.conf on certain systems.

Guest Arpione Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 You really want to screw up your battery don't you?
Guest jakethedooggg Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 But... what kind of battery is that wtf.
Guest dakok Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 It gets additional juice from Jpower's nickname...
Guest Jpower73 Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 (edited) You really want to screw up your battery don't you?Testing to the limits.. Well, gsams voltage meter is accurate. Persentage reading is a mess. BUT, 9:30 SOT is absolutely correct cause i spent the whole last night messing with messenger, spotify, web surfing in order to keep the screen on. Guest martinoff Posted October 26, 2014 Report Posted October 26, 2014 @Jpower73 please stop uploading sc in that way, you just f@k up our data with many roms out there we all have ~2days battery life with ~4-4,5 SOT and using our phone we all tested it, i make a repack from a version of it but i droped straight away airphone who built it is not using it and from what i read you are the only one who use this rom there is no way that you'll make me to use that crap, so once again please stop uploading sc like that and learn how to do it properly ;) and you MUST do a order for battery replacement yesterday :P
