Guest nsmacd1
Great ROM - Just a few questions! There are no smiley images on the keyboard app when texting - Any way to get this back, or does anyone know of a similar keyboard to the one included which has these? (I have tried to restore the previous AOSP keyboard from a back-up to no avail) Also, downloads now go to a 'My favourites' folder - Does anyone know if I can create a 'Downloads' folder and point them there instead? Finally, has anyone else managed to get GoBackUp to recognise the external SD card? Thanks guys!
Guest dakok
Did I set android L keyboard inside? (it has material item in advanced settings -> color sheme) When you set material keyboard, type something and hold on enter key. You'll see smileys there :D If android L keyboard isn't inside, install it from here or here
Guest nsmacd1
Thanks Dakok - Much appreciated, but do you know of a similar keyboard which has the smiley option displayed all the time, as it is quite fiddly to have to hold the enter key with one finger, and then use another to press the smiley icon while trying to hold the phone? I had this previously on AOSP V4 laek.17 KitKat REPACK (v3 kernel), but a Titanium restore of the keyboard did not re-add this feature? Guest tonecas
Hi. I'm not being capable of chanching the DPI in this ROM. I've tried textdroider_dpi but it's not working. Is there any effective way ? Thanks for the support. P.S.: Also the automatic light control doesn't seem to be working. Is this a known issue ? Guest tonecas
Hi. So I managed to change the DPI by addin the line : ro.sf.lcd_density=240 to the biuld.prop Where you see 240 that's the DPI value that can be set between 180 and 320 (safelly). To do this just use Root Browser and go, as Sasa said, ystem - to the folder system and open the file biuld.prop (you might have to change temporarily the permissions to write). Edit that file and add the line ro.sf.lcd_density=240 Anywhere in the build properties Here's my build.prop: # begin build properties # autogenerated by buildinfo.sh ro.build.id=KOT49H ro.build.display.id=4.4.023.P0.140703.A310 ro.build.version.incremental=206 ro.custom.build.version=MMX_Micromax_A310_SW_4.4.023_HW_P0_140703 ro.build.version.sdk=19 ro.build.version.codename=REL ro.build.version.release=4.4.2 ro.build.date=Thu Nov 6 21:18:08 CST 2014 ro.build.date.utc=1415279888 ro.build.type=user ro.build.user=system4 ro.build.host=ubuntu ro.build.tags=release-keys ro.product.model=Micromax A310 ro.product.brand=Micromax ro.product.name=A310 ro.product.device=A310 ro.product.board=Micromax_A310 ro.product.cpu.abi=armeabi-v7a ro.product.cpu.abi2=armeabi ro.product.manufacturer=Micromax ro.product.locale.language=en ro.product.locale.region=US ro.wifi.channels= ro.board.platform= # ro.build.product is obsolete; use ro.product.device ro.build.product=A310 # Do not try to parse ro.build.description or .fingerprint ro.build.description=yulong92_cwet_kk-user 4.4.2 KOT49H 206 release-keys ro.build.fingerprint=Micromax/A310/A310:4.4.2/KOT49H/4.4.023.P0.140703.A310:user/release-keys ro.build.flavor= ro.build.characteristics=default # some building version number by yulong. ro.yulong.version.hardware=P0 ro.yulong.version.software=4.4.032.P0.141106.8297W_I01 ro.yulong.version.release=4.4.032.P0.141106.8297W_I01 ro.sf.lcd_density=220 # end build properties Edited March 2, 2015 by tonecas

Guest afulm
I have a problem. This rom doesn't recognize my apn automatically. That wouldn't matter if it wasn't for the fact that I'm unable to edit the APN. Android wont let me save my APN settings if I change the MNC. Any suggestions? Guest 77chedu
If it's a fresh install, try switching the apns.conf file from another rom and reflash the rom with the new file

Any suggestions? there is not such problem with this rom,i have manually added apns numerous times with no problem.. The only issue that may appear, but i can't remember if i saw it on this rom,is that when you remove the sim cards you lose the apns. Most roms do that. Guest dakok
Google play - apn sim offline database. You shouldn't have APN problem with this rom. I added apns several times without a problem

Guest dakok
It is very hard to brick this phone :) Your problem is flashing. These are flashing procedures: CWM: - Download zip file (rom) and transfer that to SDcard - Turn on debugging on your phone, turn off quick boot, turn off phone (some folks remove battery now:)) - Press vol. up and power button together for at least 10 seconds. - You are in CWM now (probably)- Wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition - Mounts and storage: Format System, Cache, Data. Go back- Advanced: Wipe Dalvik cache, Reboot recovery - Install zip from SDcard -> choose zip -> your rom (zip) - Reboot to system TWRP: - Download zip file (rom) and transfer that to SDcard - Turn on debugging on your phone, turn off quick boot, turn off phone (some folks remove battery now:)) - Press vol. up and power button together for at least 10 seconds. - You are in TWRP now (probably) IN TWRP perform a WIPE –> SWIPE to Factory Reset ADVANCED WIPE–> Select – Dalvik, System, Cache Return to recovery main interface and Install zip from sd card: - Select your ROM FILE.ZIP –> It will launch installation procedure Edited March 3, 2015 by dakok

Guest dakok
That or TWRP 2.6 if you like :) Edited March 11, 2015 by dakok
Guest thehobit
Thank again Datok, moving from Leak ROM, agree that this is the fastest and smothers ROM. TWRP 2.6 did the job, is it still recommended to install 2.8.5? One thing which I'm still struggling with, when connecting the device ti the computer, the connection menu does not pop up in the notification bar (connected as changer only). The only way to connect it is to to change the USB connection in the storage menu. Any hint?
