Guest bushibaa Posted March 2, 2015 Report Posted March 2, 2015 I have just uploaded a G330 build to basketbuild with the system image partition size set to 512mb BOARD_SYSTEMIMAGE_PARTITION_SIZE := 536870912 # 0x20000000 Is someone willing to test it and see if it boots? If so, also tell me if the audio works! it works on my device(similar to u8825, system partition 512MB)
Guest chil360 Posted March 2, 2015 Report Posted March 2, 2015 My partition layout is unmodified and it works fine. Great work! it works on my device(similar to u8825, system partition 512MB) That's good news - finally working on G330. I'll push the change to my github repo.

Guest alexandermb Posted March 4, 2015 Report Posted March 4, 2015 farfix Que build es mas estable ? 1.0 o 9?
Guest chil360 Posted March 4, 2015 Report Posted March 4, 2015 chil360: You has done any new progress on LP or with video encoding/decoding? There hasn't been any updates to the SlimLP sources as Slim are still trying to fix their problems. I haven't seen any announcements to say what's going on or when everything will be back up. So weekly builds are currently on hold. As far as the device trees go, I have been doing some updates to the audio HAL and a reorganization of the code in the device repos... Reorganization: Currently we have 3 device repos (u8833, u8951, u8825) and a common repo (msm7x27a-common). U8833 inherits from msm7x27a-common, U8951 and U8825 inherit from U8833. Dazzozo did it this way to also support G300 (U8815) but this is too slow for lollipop as it's only a single core device. Therefore, there is a lot of code in u8833 that is common to the three devices I support which can now be moved to msm7x27a-common. All 3 devices now directly inherit from msm7x27a-common. Audio: We currently have 2 separate audio hals, one for u8833/u8951 the other for u8825. I have updated the u8833/u8951 HAL in line with nearest tag for our our device in CAF and merged in the u8825 HAL. So, all 3 devices now build the audio HAL from the same source code which has been moved to msm7x27a-common - u8833/u8951 sets 'TARGET_HAS_QACT := true' (AudioHardware_cad.cpp) and u8825 sets 'TARGET_HAS_QACT := false' (AudioHardware.cpp) I haven't pushed all of these changes to github yet, still testing to make sure it all builds correctly after the reorganization. No progress on video encoding/decoding yet either.
Guest farfix Posted March 4, 2015 Report Posted March 4, 2015 farfix Que build es mas estable ? 1.0 o 9? He usado ambas, pero siento más fluida la alpha 1.0 (Considerar que como alpha aun es inestable) ------------------------------------------------ (trying to explain in english, to avoid an offtopic :P ) Which build is "more stable"? The 1.0 is fast for me but, as an alpha, is still unstable :P

Guest Louis4ever Posted March 5, 2015 Report Posted March 5, 2015 Hey, does someone knows why I can't access CM12 forum??
Guest juanpablocastillo Posted March 5, 2015 Report Posted March 5, 2015 @chil360: Our system partitions (mostly G330) are very small for ART. You can compile with WITH_ART_SMALL_MODE for address this. More info: http://source.android.com/devices/tech/dalvik/configure.html#with_art_small_mode
