I Disabled Zram and Enable Swap on system 300 mb. Swappiness 90 Great Performance. I can play Fifa 15 and also coc !. Chil360 I think you Should remove zram and replace it with Swap.

That's personal preference. I also like swap but in theory it kills your SD or with what you're doing your internal partitions faster. Search in Y300 general thread for something like "phone nand gone read only" This is why I only swap on SD partition.

Hi, i am happy with 13.06.2015 version! No major probs (followed SlimLP alpha dev an now give a try :)  )- THANKS.

I made an full wipe.

free in terminal shows:

Mem: 414216 (free 38584)

Swap: 131068  (free 38860)

swappiness: 45 ( file swappiness setting, orig.)

App ZRAM Status shows:

ZRAM Disk: 134.217.728

used 39.0000

Questions:

Where is ZRAM disksize (134 MB) configured (cant find in init.d or its folder)

Where is swappiness  (45) configured?

Is in orig. (unchanged) ROM ZRAM enabled and set to 134 MB? ( i think so)

But whats with SWAP? (shown in free)

Is that the ZRAM or really an SWAP (by an file somewhere or swap partition) ?

I dont have manually setup swap partition on SD; but have some partition left for such usage.

If file or real swap partition where is it configured (131 MB size) ?

"free" in terminal shows a combination of zram and swap. Use "cat /proc/swaps" to see individual results.

Zram (like it's name suggests) lives dynamically in RAM.

I use performance control to set swappines and other things like zram

Thanks for cat ... hint to show swaps.

Mine, ROM seetings orig. shows only ZRAM. So its clear no swapfile or swap partition is used.

My personal experience with the ROM...

Very, very smooth :)

I use a 200 MB swap in /system, also I disabled zRAM and I set up swapiness in 90 (kernel adiutor)...

Faster than previous versions :)

But the fonts are too little, please resolve ;-)

Go to Settings -> Display.

There you can change the screen DPI (200 by default)... I use 220 dpi and it's ok for me :)

A nice and smooth rom. The only reason for not staying on this rom is the wifi. The wifi hotspot doesn't work perfectly. And,also the "Share it" app doesn't work. Without this app,my all fun will be stopped. When I want to send or receive something, the mobile restarts also. Please fix this. :(

@chill360, can you edit u8833/overlay/frameworks/base/core/res/res/xml/power_profiles.xml battery capacity to 1730 please.

(unless I have really lucked out and got a small battery)

Is black screen bug still present?

Is it possible to convert data partition in F2FS?

Thanks

PS: It would be great to join internal storage and internal SD.

Do you know https://github.com/SlimSaber?
