Guest Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 Hi, I've recently read that I could return my stock base band (Philippine base band) when I return to my country's stock ROM (http://www.modaco.com/topic/366779-y300-0000-sim-card-not-recognized/). So I tried to look for this app (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454) and I installed it with no ideas on how to use it. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TEACH ME HOW TO USE THIS AND EXTRACT THE UPDATE.APP OF Y300?

Select the Profile suitable for your phone (probably the G610-C00,G520-0000,G510,C8813,C8813), select the update file. Right click on the baseband.img and select create flashable zip. Now you can flash it in CWM or TWRP. Edited March 4, 2015 by rhen

My experience is that after I opened the bootloader, flash CWM and SlimKat, I was unable to install the official update.app with the dload method to get back Stock ROM. I installed back the original ROM with create a flashable zip of the extracted update.app. Edited March 4, 2015 by rhen

I don't want to cost money just for unlocking this thing. XD
Guest Posted March 4, 2015 Report Posted March 4, 2015 Also, I stumbled upon this on searching (http://www.modaco.com/topic/358599-how-to-free-sim-unlock-your-g300/). Would it also work on Y300 or meh?

Guest Posted March 4, 2015 Report Posted March 4, 2015 Also, I've changed my ROM many times before I put in a SIM Card in my phone. I've tried all of the SIM cards here in the Philippines so I'm wondering at which network was my phone locked to?
