I have created another test kernel rolling back the sources to before the CAF update and adding just these commits. I have uploaded it as Test_3. I got that when using Messenger mostly. Again sorry for off-topic, but this thread is the most active so I asked here.
Guest pingvinkic Posted May 11, 2015 Report Posted May 11, 2015 (edited) I think that it was a mistake when we started calling it black screen bug, i belive that many people that have repoted black screen think that when you open some app and then you get black screen is the bug that we are talking about. I am using kernel test 1 for almost two days now and i have not expirienced wake up bug, i tried kernel test 2 and i got that bug 10 minutes after flashing kernel Edited May 11, 2015 by pingvinkic
Guest CreasingMass Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 I've been using this rom for a while and i've had only 1 black screen with the stock kernel (using test3 right now), by black screen i mean that the phone was totally freezed and the lights of the bottons were on all the time so i had to pull out the battery (i was using 9gag app and spotify), i think that the ppl that are reporting "black screens" were only a ram problem that the systemui crashed, so i don't think that it is very useful to let users report such problems.

I saved messages with SMS backup and restore. when I went to restore the application messages get stuck in loading conversations. in order I installed the rom the gapps and then I installed Download UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip the recovery at this link I downloaded https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip the recovery is twrp 2.8.0.0 because that does not work 2.8.0.1 I entered the last working Edited May 12, 2015 by Sakuraji917
