Guest Gorskar Posted March 30, 2003 Report Posted March 30, 2003 ah 16 - i remember that as one that held me back for almost a week! Lets see if I can give you a few hints, as this was a very tricky one. WARNING - SPOILER - DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT TO DO LEVEL 16 BY YOURSELF First Second Third Fourth Now as you can see at this point you are free to start filling up the right hand corridor, and from now on its just a case of racking and stacking them! All you need to do is push blocks down from the top till they are aligned with the hole on the left, then go round and shunt them through, taking care to fill them up in an order that is not going to stop you manoevering blocks in. Hope I havn't spoiled the challenge too much, but that was a nasty level!
Guest STuFF Posted March 31, 2003 Report Posted March 31, 2003 ABOUT THE "NEW" VERSION : there is NO new version for now  I have a project to make a new and enhanced version, but this is not for now. I want to add : - better graphics (these are from my old DOS version (256 colors) ) - undo system (maybe you will won ONE undo per level, that you could use at anytime) - original levels (the one in the current version) + additional levels, and possibility to add more levels later (level packs) - other cool things (i have to find cool things...)
Guest Gorskar Posted March 31, 2003 Report Posted March 31, 2003 Good to hear! Boxy is one of my favourite games on the spv. Shame I've finished all the levels now. It could be made a whole lot more complicated with things like: teleport sqares, having to allign red boxes on red crosses, and blue boxes on blue crosses, more than one little smiley, and toggling between the two to do different things ice (blocks slide over it but dont stop till they get to more solid ground - just like chips challange) - just a few random ideas
Guest casper508 Posted March 31, 2003 Report Posted March 31, 2003 Gorskar you are a STAR!!! I dont think i wuve come up with that approach. Level 16 took me 5 days. The next 4, only an hour!! Cas
Guest chocobogo Posted March 31, 2003 Report Posted March 31, 2003 still on 13, keep messing it up 10 minutes in!!
Guest theplayer Posted March 31, 2003 Report Posted March 31, 2003 Hello all Please forgive this as it may sound like I am a complete novice (he he I am). I have downloaded the .cab file to my pc, but how to i install it to my SPV? Come on guys (and Gals) don’t hog the expertise. Matt
Guest Gorskar Posted March 31, 2003 Report Posted March 31, 2003 Just copy it onto your app-unlocked smartphone, and then open the file using all-explorer or smart explorer on your phone. If you dont have either of these apps you will need to create a shortcut to the cab file using windows explorer via activesinc, and move it to your start menu. Then click the shortcut on your phones programs menu. chocobogo - you want to fill up the gaps like this: where the numbers are the order to fill them in. [4][5][6] [3][#][7] [x][x][x] [2][#][8] [x][x][x] [1][#][9] [x][x][x]
Guest casper508 Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 Level 29 has given me couple of sleepless nights. At times it looks impossible. Oh well, lets have another go. Cas
Guest Gorskar Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 I can assure you it its perfectly possible
Guest STuFF Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 yes it is  All levels are possible. Someone at smartphony.org will release a trick to "skip" levels on boxy soon ;) (he said to me)
Guest casper508 Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 I bet it is. Its just me being thick I guess. Cas
Guest Gorskar Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 Two hints: ... I'm too nice, I know
Guest casper508 Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 I forced myself not to look at Gorskar's hint and got through eventually  Already up to 35th level now. Anybody else finished it yet?? Cas
Guest Gorskar Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 well done ;) - I'm sure others must have finished it. I can't believe I'm the only one
Guest mack Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 can anyone help me out with level 12?? been trying for a few days now but no luck.. Mack
Guest Gorskar Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 Ok, I can't give you any screenshots yet, as I wont be able to get at my own computer for a few days but let me give you a couple of hints to get you started. You have to escape the centre mess without creating any unmovable blocks of crates, and there are a number of possible exits. Once you realise that the exit you need to be going for is the bottom one it becomes a lot clearer. This sequence of moves will get you started: Right,Down,Left,Down,Down,Right,Up Now you can go out via the bottom exit and start racking the crates up from the top. Most crates enter the red area from the top, but a few will need to go in via the bottom. I'll leave the rest to you to work out
Guest kidmike Posted December 29, 2004 Report Posted December 29, 2004 Hey STuFF (or anyone)! I need help! After a few weeks of work, I was at level 26... and then today something went wrong. My completed levels are not shwoing up anymore, and the High Scores list is full of crazy times, like 1046 hours for some levels. (I'm bad at this game, but not that bad!! ) Someone PLEASE tell me there's some way to advance levels or restore my old times?!? I can't go through the 26 levels again, I just can't!! :) HELP! kM
Guest Disco Stu Posted December 29, 2004 Report Posted December 29, 2004 I haven't got this particular game installed, but have you got a back-up of your storage card ? Assuming you installed the game to the card, you should find a file looking something like scores.dat in the game's folder. This should contain your personal info and it sounds like the one that's there now is corrupted. If you have a back-up you could overwrite the file and get back to that previous position. Hopefully there's a better solution :?:
Guest kidmike Posted December 30, 2004 Report Posted December 30, 2004 Alas no, I do not have a backup. Foolish of me of course, but I'm a new smartphone owner (Audiovox SMT5600) and still elarning the ropes. Maybe now that the holidays are over I can really learn this thing. I did just order a 15-in-1 generic card reader from eBay as well, so I'll have no excuses in the future. Thanks for the advice though. Does anyone out there have a "scores" they could share or such?
