Guest niacin65 Posted July 6, 2003 Report Posted July 6, 2003 Wolf......thank you, you were correct. Doing a HARD RESET after loading the .98 bootloader, then the Orange software, the programs reappeared, and it asked to enter the unlock code again, but from then on it worked fine. FOR THOSE OF YOU ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS PROCEEDURE, re-read the posts, all the info is there and it works....
Guest wolf Posted July 6, 2003 Report Posted July 6, 2003 well. that's great news. finally theres someone who successfully unlock the phone.
Guest niacin65 Posted July 6, 2003 Report Posted July 6, 2003 Wolf, thanks again for your tip, and here's is a link to the full step by step instructions on how I did it: Instructions
Guest royiel Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 I managed to get my SPVx back. After applying the .98 boot loader from my Orange SPV to my Smart SPVx and applying SAP_137.zip I was able to unlock my SIM. I very happy now.
Guest ejoya Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 anyone here can help me downgrade my phone again? thanks
Guest mlkanapi Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 Me too. I was able to get my SAP back to the 1.3.7.8 ROM after installing the latest update. I followed the instructions posted by niacin65. I had to find a phone that had a 0.98 bootloader and copied it into a spare 8MB SD card using USBTerm which I then loaded into my phone. I did have to do several Hard resets and install the Orange and the SAP_137 updates while in the 3 color Canary screen. Thank you guys!
Guest mcbutler Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 what is bootstrap 3 colour and how do you do it????????

Guest [email protected] Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 Same problem here as dewslat. I am trying to unlock the E100 with bootloader v1.00? (at least that is what I get on the canary screen). I am about to try downgrading to v.99 using my old SPV. Any suggestion if the E100 can be unlocked without this hassle?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 You need to downgrade to 0.98 or below.
Guest [email protected] Posted August 1, 2003 Report Posted August 1, 2003 Anyone know where I may be able to find a bootloader v0.98 or below?
Guest mhon Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 Hi, Did not work for me. Got the message..."Invalid code...aborting" A few modifications on the unlock program might do the trick. Which is a piece of cake for you florin_m. Have a nice day,
