Guest Titus62 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 newbie here, i can't make the skins work, i dunno what i have done wrong 1) install jml panex 2) install theme 6.9, reset as per instrucrion 3) install jml today 4) install speeddial 5) install appslauncher anythings missing? +1. Same here. After sort it out a few days (Yes. I really mean a few days!) reading here n others related posts about this titanium, i managed to see this plugin running on my device. But something isn't right. The main Today page seems to be mis-align to the bottom, and I still don't understand the procedure of changing the CPR using which tools. And also, both the speeddial n appslauncher poped out a same error message something about landscape. By the mean time, it's totally unclickable. So, what exactly we must need or do to get everything run pefectly? 1) Install Mortscript (Totally don't understand how it works) 2) Install CHome Editor (Totally don't understand how it works) 3) Install JML Panex 4) Install Theme 6.9, (It soft reset automatically) 5) Install JML Today 6) Install Speeddial 7) Install Appslauncher Please anyone could show newbies like us in a proper and understandable procedure? Thanks.
Guest nastiv Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) You need to install WM 7 Titanium Project - beta6.9 as your base for modding first. rapidshare from xda. You don't need to install CHome editor and Mortscript . CHome comes with WM7 skin and Mortscript comes with JMLToday. Follow your steps now and it should work. Edited February 5, 2010 by nastiv
Guest monyozt Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 i got this err msg when install speed dial+app launcher potrait instalation failed #51 cpr-file could not be found/opened
Guest contable Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 i got this err msg when install speed dial+app launcher potrait instalation failed #51 cpr-file could not be found/opened It looks like that your cpr file is set to read-only. Change it with TotalCommander or Resco File Explorer. After installation of JMLToday you must press softkey 2 (install). Greetz contable
Guest contable Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) @all newbies: you should post some screenshots if you have installation problems. There are too many different roms out. How can I know what you have installed on your device ? I installed it several times after flashing a new rom as decribed in post #1 and all works fine. The rom that I´ve flashed is from Master Khuanchai build 23090A5. Greetz contable Edited February 5, 2010 by contable

Guest Titus62 Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 I still can't find a way to change the CPR file SPlugin to Titanium... May i know where can i download those tools to access to CPR file? And where the CPR file located in? My titanium is still not align well in the screen. Pls advice. Thanks.
Guest nastiv Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 You need to edit Titanium_480x800.cpr which is located in the /Windows folder if you want to apply some changes to this skin. You also need to turn on showing hidden&system files in your file explorer (i'm using resco explorer).

Guest contable Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) @Monyozt: I think here is the solution for your installation problem: As I remember the new Dr. KC rom 23090A5 has a titanium bug. To solve it do the following things: 1. Install Omnia_II_Titanium_Neo.cab 2. Softreset 3. Install titanium_default_restore_v2.2.cab 4. Softreset (maybe) You can read that in KC´s thread, I think on page 4 post #64. Then install my files again... Best regards contable Edited February 5, 2010 by contable
Guest dagb Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 I have now followed the instructions for this setup including loading the i8000KC23090_Lite ROM Installed i order: - MortScript-4.2-PPC - JMLPanexV2.40 - Ibrithyll_WM7_Theme_6.9_2_by_Genix9_OMNIA_II_mod (soft reset follows) - JMLToday_contable_OMNIA_II_mod_RC100 (launched CHome Editor and enabled JMLToday as sole plugin) (ran the install from the home screen) (settings->JMLPanexForPlugin: JMLToday, Page 1) once this was done, the home screen *looked* right (with the exception of the weather not updating) If i click anywhere on the screen other than the soft menu, the wait cursor comes up for a few sec and goes away. After this, the phone becomes unresponsive. Thought it might be due to the missin SpeedDial and AppLauncher, so followed up with the install of those: - AppLauncher120_WM7_TICS - Speeddials220_WM7_TICS (Enabled in CHome) (JMLPanexForPlugin: Speeddials, Page 1 and AppLauncher, Page 1) now these two panels are also present, but again, the responsiveness is intolerable, and clicking anywhere does nothing. Is this a JMLPanex issue? A MortScript issue? Has anyone experienced this / have a resolution? I am about to give up on this project.... dag ;)

Start JMLPanexForPlugin (Menu > Settings > JMLPanexForPlugin), choose JMLToday, then all. If the buttons still don´t work repeat this procedure 1 or 2 times (sometimes it´s necessary) Repeat it with AppLauncher and Speeddials. Don´t be angry. I´m not angry either if I have to answer everyday the same questions which are allready answered. The Moderator Edit: The newest version is V1.1 => post #1 Edited February 5, 2010 by contable
Guest contable Posted February 5, 2010 Report Posted February 5, 2010 (edited) @all: The plugin works very well with new JMLPanex V2.4. I will upload a new cab including JMLPanex V2.4 with all needed settings, so that all buttons should work instantly after you have installed the plugin on your devices. Cheers, contable Edited February 6, 2010 by contable
