Guest contable Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 (edited) @contable : All contact informations : "Software\\JML\\Contacts\\Favorites\\FavoriteX" registry key -> Create a script for this. A++ @JMHL: I know this but it´s a lot of work... After testing I have another suggestion for JMLPanex: Is it possible that after a long press click, for example 1 or 1,5 seconds, Panex executes the link or app automatically ? Atm the user don´t know how long he has to click and hold. Edit: Maybe a parameter in JMLPanex.ini: [Panex] Longpress=1000 After clicking 1 second Panex executes the link or app automatically... In future version. It"s in JMLPanex and JMLToday together... Not modify immediately this sensible feature if i want to release this week-end. A++

While testing I´m writing down what can be improved in future version so I don´t forget it...

Guest contable Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Works well on my device. Give me .pnx file for contacts and JMLContacts.mnu file. I will check it again tomorrow, have to sleep now, very tired... I switched back to previous version and it works.
Guest contable Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 @JMHL: latest JMLContacts.exe is working now. I revised my scripts, was my fault. Sorry. Speed improvement is confirmed. Cheers contable
Guest contable Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 @all: I have ported all pages, less weather page, to page 1. Here a shot of full appointment display on page 1... Still a lot to do but new skin is getting closer...
Guest contable Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 @JMHL: another suggestion for JMLPanex: #itempage command Sometimes it´s better if you execute first and then switch to the page...

Guest contable Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 @all: The release of my new skin is delayed. I think I will be able to finish it in the next 2 weeks but cannot promise it. So far all main functions are working well. Still to do: 1. (maybe) Launcher extension (also the users can customize some buttons by themselves) 2. Phone ex styled Favorites tab 3. A lot of icons I need (Omar Junior will create when he has time) and so on ... Cheers contable
Guest contable Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 @JMHL: again a suggestion for JMLContacts.exe: JMLContacts.exe;-updatepicture:N for updating the contacts picture in case you have changed it e.g. with your dialer or photo app... Maybe you can add something like that to the actions menu. Cheers contable

Also, i think i'll create a JMLFavorites.exe program to separate contacts (birthday...) and favorites traitments (and : smaller program -> faster for loading and running). A++

Speed or performance improvements are always welcome. These days I have to do a lot of stuff in my office so the new skin has to wait....

Guest contable Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 Hi Contable. Can i install your new skin with ROM SB30? or i must install with another ROM? Thank. Guest contable Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 Here another option for new contacts tab: It would be nice if some users could post their opinions, personally I like the transparent tab...
Guest piotrwinmo Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 ...this should be final: I know that you love this big clock but maybe instead of clock it would be nice to display list of birthdays of fav people from selected page? JMHL, could you make context menu configurable through text file. For example instead launching SMS application from MS it would be possible to launch Samsung application. regards, piotrwinmo
Guest JMHL1963 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 (edited) @all For next V6.00 : [mod] JMLContacts.exe : remove favorites contacts management [new] JMLFavorites.exe : favorites-contacts AND favorites-programs management See picture below : - I use JMLPicture.exe and JMLFavorites.exe. - Single-clic : show a contextual menu as before - Long-clic : call the phone number per default, selected when you choose the contact, OR run the program. Of course, it's configured in .pnx file. You can change these actions... Now, for Long-clic, JMLToday make a vibrate to signal that is a long clic. A++ Edited November 4, 2010 by JMHL1963
Guest JMHL1963 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 @piotrwinmo : Yes, i try to launch SMS, EMAIL, CALENDAR, TASKS ... programs defined as default. ex. : if your samsung application is the default, i launch it. OK ?
