i don't have samsung bloat ware installed <_< tried using just WM center and it works sometimes, oddly if i open it before i plug in the omnia. But i cannot get it to sync with WMP as soon as WMP opens and the phone is plugged in it freezes

I was flashed to full JB3(4 parts) tested for a skort while. After that I download Mr Gary JB3_Lite. I installed a Chinese Hand written input. It worked for me. I don't know why yours not working. Can you provides a German keyboard link for me to try?

I set Regional Language to German(Luxemborg). Installed Resco KB Pro. Set primary language to German. It worked as shown.

The only keyboard layout is English. The rest have been removed.

I found a way to fix the problem with the German keyboard in this release. Fix is:

Just copy the following files from an original ROM from \Windows folder to the custom ROM in \Windows folder:

German.akw

German.edc

german.png

GermanNS.edc

kbdGerman.ppk

XT9.Keyboard.Discrete.Qwerty.German.kdb

XT9.Keypad.Discrete.Qwerty.German.kdb

XT9.Keypad.Discrete.Qwertz.German.kdb

XT9.Phonepad.Discrete.Default.German.kdb

XT9_QVGA.Common.German.Landscape.Accent.xml

XT9_QVGA.Common.German.Portrait.Accent.xml

XT9_QVGA.Keyboard.German.Landscape.xml

XT9_QVGA.Keyboard.German.Portrait.xml

XT9_QVGA.Keypad.German.Portrait.xml

XT9_QVGA.Phonepad.German.Portrait.xml

Then setting German keyboard layout works fine and also reboot is working...

The fix I am working on has nothing to do with the Page Pool.

Page Pool will remain at 8MB.

The fix has to do with how the modules are relocated.

it has to do with active sync and windows mobile center. i just uninstalled mobile center (never really used it)and the issue went away.

I have attached all the icons for the apps that where not removed but icons where missing from the start menu. I don't know why gary didn't include them??

With your "Programs" links this ROM is AWESOME!!! Thank you "jebise"...

And of course THANK YOU GARY!!!

If anybody cares I flashed it with :

CSC_I8000MOTIH3.CSC (It's very small and does the job for me in Australia. All the late ones are locked with "ORANGE" and I dodn't know how to crack them... Any help with it???)

Eboot_I8000NXXJB3_HW_40.eb0

Phone_I8000XXJB1.bin (I can't find JB3...)

Everything works ok on 6.5 (visible, invisible).

Could not test the BT headset as I do not have one.

You tried both green and blue taskbar? A friend reported me that he can't display BT icons with the green taskbar

Thanks!

Sorry...only tried the blue.

Will try the green now.

Ok..tried the green.

You have to exit BT settings screen for the icons to show up, then visible/invisble work.

great, what is your RAM on 6.5 compared to 6.5.5? I will use one of your ROM that gives the best preformace/RAM. But want to try both, so what would you recommend?

It's really a matter of personal preference.

With 6.5.5 the menus are different, the menu buttons on the today screen are

at the bottom, etc. There is a little less program ram with this than 6.5, but,

again, it's a personal choice.

In some ways I like both 6.5 and 6.5.5 - so I am now occassionally going

to switch between the 2 O/S.

Just installed your ROM - thanks for the effort - works great.

With regards to the language keyboards - is that the option to select different languages for T9?

I was able to choose other languages a couple of ROM's back (KSTAN's I believe), but the last two (including yours), the "Input Method" on "System Settings" from Samsung's Settings does not work.

I am sure many (if not most) are using english as the UI language, but it can be a pain in the a$$ to write email and sms in different languages - it basically means that T9 is useless unless you write english.

Yes, using xT9 to select a keyboard language was re-installed in this version.

I was using your pdaJB3-8PP.nb0 for the past few days. I done a full device backup before flashed the new GC_JB3_Kbd_KiesFix.nb0. Restored back from my backup set but unfortunate that my Voicebook2 application was not working after this. Hard reset, restore to the previous backup set, the voicebook2 still refused to work. Then I flashed back to pdaJB3-8PP.nb0 and restored back all my program from the latest backup set. And all the programs were working fine.

There was something different in this GC_JB3_Kbd_KiesFix.nb0. But please not to watse time for it because I still comfortable with the second version. Appreciate you hard worked. I like your cooking.

My files size:

JB1_pdaGC8PP.nb0 273.295mb

pdaJB3-8PP.nb0 273.295mb

GC_JB3_Kbd_KiesFix.nb0 296.949mb
