Guest Omega Ra Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 since the discussion of the main menu has lagged a little...has anyone had a progress on the lockscreen? Anyone been able to make it work with touchplayer and for the characters to display correctly?
Guest dgmorland Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 For the people that were asking how to launch this new MainMenu by pressing the windows Start icon, this AMeBa application might be what you are looking for. It is for 6.5.x ROM. There is probably an equivalent app for earlier version of WinMo somewhere out there.
Guest bobor Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 (edited) Sorry, just to be clear -- does this work for I8000 on the 6.1 stock ROM? Edited March 18, 2010 by bobor
Guest mnap Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 (edited) Hey guys is there a way i can put the Korean ROM on my I920 since there is a 2 part ROM and if its even possible thanks Edited March 19, 2010 by mnap
Guest Wilson@China Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 Sorry, just to be clear -- does this work for I8000 on the 6.1 stock ROM? Yes, I am using it on my WM6.1 ROM. But I believe you should copy all PNG files with prefix "Start_" into Windows folder. From my experiment, the lack of those PNG files may cause icon disappeared in Mainmenu. But this is not a conclusion.
Guest TeKilla Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 very cool & fast mainmenu, THX one question: how can i change the link of the "Windows Logo" Button? >> Now its open die honeycumb menu instead of the "new" samsung mainmenu? greets from Austria/Linz
Guest kdkinc Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 This a great menu feature :P ;) Some of the post talked about a rom which to me , never went any where. When this thread opened I understood it to only apply to the Newmenu feature. :) I hope that kgp700 keeps this updated or starts a newmenu thread only. The menu is sleek easy to adjust to one liking and just plain looks good ;) I currently using it on mu VZW i920 omnia.. :P :D

Guest WolfpackInCO Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 (edited) Yeah, try Ameba. Download the 0.8 CAB and the scarecrow settings cab and install both. Run Ameba settings from your start menu and point it to mainmenu.exe (whether you copied it to \windows or left it elsewhere). That's it! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...highlight=ameba Edited April 22, 2010 by WolfpackInCO

Guest garyfl Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 but did you manage it to work with the hard button too? Because i can set to work with the soft button but cannot make to work with the hard button.... nonot hard button i assigned that to media player it saves you from accidentially pushing the hard button and bringing up the silly start menu.
Guest Ender Psp Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Just as a FYI, I've put the menu on a OmniaPro (B7610) and it works.
