That problem can fixable with the installation of the HTC Messaging Client. :( It was discussed a few times.

Rapid81, Few things to consider:-

[-] Enable Rotation (Sense can work in landscape so no point of disabled it in your ROM)

[-] RAM run very low (30MB) after just playing with sense until no other application can be executed

[-] Need more space in Device. File managers and few other apps are just redundant. Opera 10 temporary files in device make it full very fast.

But the ROM tends to force itself to potrait especially the menu. I almost had a car accident when the screen go to potrait automatically. It can be really annoying when u r using GPS in the car in landscape mode while driving.

Have anyone try the latest Co0kie's Home Tab v1.8.5. on this ROM.

Everything work perfectly except the ""Edit home layout" function.

Do you think there is a way to get the config "home layout" work ?

Everytime I try the "Edit home layout" function, it always freezes my i8000.

It there a fix for this problem ?

In the setting wireless Manager didn't see Wi-Fi, and wi-fi can not search.

No HTC Message client in this ROM, like in the other releases.

The Sense version is still the 2011 Rhodium (like in JD6), because I cannot get the 2016 to work in my little free time I have right now. The ROm is the same as JD6, except the ROM's version and I tried a possible fix for the SIM autoloading problem.

thanks guys. i tried this rom last night and the only thing i notice is the alarm notification on the todays page. when the alarm is on, the notification on the todays page is still says its off. maybe its just me. maybe theres a different clock app that i havent seen.

but otherwise i like this rom. one of the best ive tested so far.

I just tested it but I've got no problems on the today screen the alarm is on so no problems here.Sorry but I can't help you with any solution cause it works on mine phone just fine!

the alarm on today screen only detects HTC alarm (when u click the clock) and also WM default alarm (i think).. if u use samsung alarm it won't be detected.. also if u use g-alarm it will be detected because it creates a "false" WM alarm.

I said before, I don't have too much time for the PDA projects right now. I looked into it, but found nothing. I'm using the Samsung Messaging too, but I don't care the MMS, because I did not sent or received any in the last 10 years! And because even if I try to fix, I cannot test it because I don't have a lots of money to send mms just for testing. It costs 2€ with my provider.

And if I'm correct, a few people wrote here, if you set your mms profile in Sense, you can receive it.

Because it was removed from the very first release, but if you could read, then you found it in the 3rd post right now. I don't understand why people can't or won't read.

BTW, i tried changing the pagepool of your sense from 8mb to 12mb. i think at 12mb runs faster and smoother.

This Sense is crash in landscape mode, but if you want that:

Separate Sense 2.5 Installer

We provide you a separate installer of the Sense 2.5

Steps of the install:

1. You need a light (naked) ROM with at least 105MB free space on the Device
   
2. Disable any UI in "Items on Today"
   
3. Install the CAB to the Device (do not let the phone to sleep in the meantime, it takes 20-25 minutes)
   
4. Soft Reset
   
5. Enjoy!
   

The Sense supports english and hungarian only!

Cooking into ROMs is allowed with one condition:

You need to mention our names and the donation's link!

Download (Rhodium Core Version) - 11/05/2010

I must warn you, the Sense maybe not perfect in this way!

You'll probably face with crashes and not working functions!

I recommend you to use the ROM if you want a perfectly running Sense 2.5.

Separate TouchFlo3D 1.3 Installer

I created an installer from the version of the TouchFlo3D 1.3 what I'm using in my ROMs.

The installation method the same as at the Sense 2.5.
