I just need it to open ocassional MMS messages. I am happy with the ROM using the one form the task manager and/or the samsung for sending SMS.

hey guys ive just downloaded and flashed the jd6 rom and having some trouble connecting to my internet.

it doesnt have a provider but i can still make/ receive phone calls and sms.

can someone please help me out?

my phone is from a 3 provider in australia.

Better you flashed to Rapid's JF5 Sense ROM, it will auto detect of SIM card now. If you used JD6, you need to manually setup the internet connection which you had to find out from 3 provider in Australia.

thanks alot with the help but i was using JF5 but you cant recieve MMS on it. unless there was a fix for it that i dont know about ??

I alredy installed on my phone, but something is wrong with my camera, when i activate it, and rotate to put the divice as a camera, im mean landscape mode, i can only see a small square in the screen, dont know what can be the problem, but i dont like that, thanks a lot if someone can fix this.

Did you try Changing the Browser Connections under settings (samsung settings)

i think by default it sets to WAP, Change that to Internet.

Think that I have never written in this forum and I do thank you for the work you've done with this rom. It's fantastic.

I've installed and works very well. So far I have no problem only thing is missed calls and sms on the screen do not go home, but I've seen that can be solved with the HomeTab, I've fallen and be settling.

(Excuse my bad English but I am using the google translator)

And now event the responds very good. But... I lost the My location info..

Last time in my weather location can detect my name place. Now with your new version they on state " MY LOCATION" or only My Country name :)

Wich prerequisites that need to install this rom, because my phone is I8000L and y have read some issue with "L" series

Ok thanks Rapid81, been expecting sense 2018 + JG5 from you.

Few things i consider redundant in previous ROM that wastes space

1. Too many file managers (File explorer, file manager, total comander)

2. Too many calendars (calendar, Touch calendar, HTC calendar)

3. Too many address book (phonebook , addressbook, sense contact)

4. Too many messenger client (text, messenger, then we install htc messenger)

5. Too many dialler (win, samsung, then we htc dialler)

6. Wifi on/off and bluetooth on/off applications

-Opera mobile 10 can be installed in mystorage to save space.

-Sense works well with bigboss's landscape tweak and gyrator 2 especially when we disabled weather animation so no reason to disable landscape or remove autorotation. It doesnt crash the ROM at all.

Infact i already posted screenshot of your ROM for every TAB in landscape mode in my previous posts

Your Rom is one of the best, if not the very best 2.5 Sense Roms I have tried! It is very, very fast compared to the orther current Sense Roms. No disrespect to all the other Chefs, who have given sooooo much to our O-2 community.

I love your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Toggles. Please don't leave them out of your future Roms.

Will a 2017 and JG5 Rom give us something new?

Will you be building this new Rom any time soon?

A qns to fellow forummers using this ROM and have CHT installed on your O2, can I install CHT latest version (v1.8.5.1) on this rom? or I must install only v1.6.1? I apologised for not reading all 70plus pages as some of the problems posted might have been solved on the current ROM.

just a question guys. ive been using the rapids latest rom with tf3d. and i noticed that whenever someone text message me, the time that i get the message is always 4 hrs behind. i search the phone in and out to fix it but no luck. and also the alarm symbol on the todays page doesnt change. its always says "alarm off" even though its on.

have you guys have any problem like this?

n00body and Rapid great new Rom but one question for ya. When I'm returning a text message to someone, I type the text hit send on the top of the window then it will show me another send button at the bottom of the window. Am I doing something wrong or is there a setup I'm not doing right.
