Hi

 

I have two issues with this rom.

First: when I install GAPPS it gets deleted after a while. The google play icon is there, but when I want to launch it, it says that "the application is not installed".

Second: The videos are not working.

 

I'm using CWM recovery and I have a y300 device.

 

Can someone help me please?

CWM isn't compatible with this ROM. Use TWRP ;)

OTA updater did not work well for me. It downloaded the new R19 version, but then when it boot up into TWRP it only cleared cache, did not install. So i booted into TWRP mannually, went to the OTA folder and flashed the R19 version, manually...; is there harm in this method?

I understand this ROM has a working OTA updater now. Is all your data lost every time you update the ROM or does it get conserved?

reboot in TWRP and backup DATA folder, then restart and update, if something is deleted simply load your backuped data via recovery

this rom as well as the other cm-Roms for our device are pretty well (better let me say fantastic. thats what i mean)

 

for me this one is the best in battery drain and in getting a gpsfix so i prefere this one most (tried the cm10.2 and 11 by dazoo who does great work).

 

but is it possible to compile openpdroid support in this rom and maybe have pdroid manager and droidwall build in?

According to BetterBatteryStats it's mostly "blink" (27%) that's preventing my phone to go in Deep Sleep.

maybe is the notification led, because there is a bug that the led doesnt let the phone enter in deep sleep

Yeah, thanks but does it fix problem when videos do not start in HQ mode? They are working in LQ fine, but when I swich on HQ the screen is blach, buffering bar is not buffering and the play button does not respond. Sorry for being so pesky but I don't want to install new version if it doesn't solve this problem(there are some other posts about videos not working) and becouse I spent some time on configuring this one.

EDIT.

Is there a possibility that it is not rom but kernel issue? I'm using CeXstel v0.54
