Guest Kra1o5 Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 (edited) This is because on cm10 and cm10.1 kra1o5 disabled mpdecision by default He means that on stock rom, with mp decision (qualcomm service) each core can work separately, so the other can stay offline if the % of cpu charge is low https://github.com/Kra1o5/android_device_huawei_u8833/blob/cm-10.1/ramdisk/init.huawei.rc#L376 Disable?¿ I think mpdecision not make big changes really is like a tweaks. Guest fonz93 Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Yes, there is no difference, if you still want it, you can enable it with trickster mod (i think)
Guest SH3H1 Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 So no difference with battery life, huh? Okay then disabling it now :D Kra1o5 any chance of better battery life? Whatever you say but i'm more interested in this ROM than anything else :) ,That's why ;)

In wich rom do you feel battery better ?
Guest SH3H1 Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Don't have problem with battery in this rom. In wich rom do you feel battery better ? I use my phone a lot so i consider screen on time :) In fusionX with ceastel kernel i can get 5hrs of screen on time with 2G enabled. In CM10.1 (i think it is better than my B175) I can only get 3:45 screen on time. I won't say it is bad battery but would be great if could get a bit more :) Everything else is perfect now :D

My situation : i don't play games, only browse (wifi or 2g), sometimes gps and photos. I haven't seen big differencies between stock/cm10/cm10.1 (battery speaking)

Guest Bundizle Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 yea tried this rom a while ago everything works perfectly everything is super smooth except the drain..the battery is okay when screen is off but with usage it drops dramatically..also the issue of battery drain because of "blink" wakelock..the closest thing you can find to the stock rom..
Guest SH3H1 Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 @Up Yep,battery life is more than good while screen is off but scrren on with 3G on is heavy  Everything else is perfect than this :) I'm sticking with it now ;) Kra1o5 told me that it is possible to have better battery life but not much. Hope he fixes it :)
Guest mockingbird Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 I get aroud 3 and a half hours of on screen time with brightness at 25% playing HayDay on 3G Data.

Guest damaris123 Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Hi. When I have a lost call or a whatsapp (and I'm not using my phone), when the led is blinking, Android OS is draining a lot of battery. :( When I'm using the phone (so led isn't blinking) Android OS is around 5-10%, but if I'm not using my phone during 5 hours (and this 5 hours the led is blinking) Android OS is around 50% (and I can see that it has been running 5 hours, the time that the led is blinking). Maybe the people who uses the phone every day don't see that, but when I lost a call or i have a whatsapp (and I dont read it), maybe for 6 hours (when I'm working), Android os is the most draining battery process. :( @kra1o5 can you fix that? I did all wipes, and i did 2 installs (with all the wipes), and I tried it in my girlfriend phone (y300 too :P) and it happens the same. Sorry for my bad english.
Guest damaris123 Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 (edited) So, battery drain with notifications led (while you don't use the phone) will be fixed? @kra1o5 if you can, fix it :P Edited March 11, 2014 by damaris123
Guest fricy81 Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 So, battery drain with notifications led (while you don't use the phone) will be fixed? @kra1o5 if you can, fix it :P Yepp, known bug. Try the rom with Cexstel's kernel with OndemandX governor. Battery drain better is better that way.
Guest SH3H1 Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) Battery is looking good for now for my usage :D :D Edit: With Cextel v0.61 and Intellidemand+sio ;) With min 65mhz and max 1008mhz Edited March 12, 2014 by MasterRck
