Any way to fix the images not loading in some apps? Everything else seems to work fine except that one thing.

ok I see whats going on. when I boot in to recovery mod and tell it to load the new update it will start and then after a few sec is will just reboot the phone and will not apply the update any help please

 

update: I and going to try a few thing s like restore to stock and then install the current version of CM and see what happened will let you know

also guys, the latest build today 27th the ringtones selection sound dont work and apollo dont work

ive reinstalled fresh, and it fails to work, i went back to build from 25th and that works ok

can anyone confirm this is broken

Does anyone else have a problem with low speakerphone volume? If I try to use the speakerphone option it routes the call audio to the rear speaker but it's no louder than it would be through the front (ear) speaker. I know there's nothing wrong with the speaker itself because media apps play through the speaker just fine.

 

I have a Y300-0151 and this seems to have been a problem starting around the switch to 4.4.4, as I was able to use speakerphone in previous builds just fine, but not for weeks/months now.

If you have flashed zram disabler is ok

Now you have to chose if you want swap in sdcard or a system partition

If you want sdcard swap you can use ramexpander( i onli know this ) band chose the amount of swap

If you want a swap in system partition you need a init.d script that create a swap file in a partiti on ( like /system , /data or/and /cache ) and flash the script

You can found many example of script in mine personal server ( http://luca020400.altervista.org/addon/ ) and chose the amount and where pur the swap file ( If you want a specifico type of swap tell me )

You can also download the multi swap ( like cache and system 64mbx2 )

Now download it and flash it by recovery

I have no problems with speaker sound, but build from 27th I can't play sound properly, I reverted to build from 26th and that's fine

I find the overall volume too low. Have everything maxed out, even disabled safe volume but it still is not as loud as it was before.

Ringtones selection sound is working now with build 28th, and apollo now plays sound too, so it appears build 27th was mashed up.

So when you use speakerphone in a call you hear the person you're talking to without having your ear right next to the speaker?

 

I don't have problems with the speaker if I'm using a media program. It's only a problem during a call when I try to use speakerphone. It's a problem other users of CM11 have had and fixed with an update or by editing files not found in our build.

Someone needs to do a binary chop on the CM11 builds to find which build broke it, and why.

 

Until that's done, we're just guessing.

 

When was the last build which worked flawlessly?

OK did a full restore and the reinstalled the CM11 ROM.No it will install thenightlys no problem.

That facebook video thing has been a problem for months... I don't know if there's a fix :\

Yes but now the cmupdater retrive the update at cyanogenmod jenkins !!

Or che have updated the cmupdater without adding his jenkins

Hello, its been a long time. :o Hopefully you won't throw stones at me. :(

I guess I should start at the beginning: I'm sorry for disappearing in the way that I did, it probably led to a bunch of complaints and drama but I have no idea. I had a bit of a crisis and just had to get out of everything, so I didn't really enjoy it either. :P
 
The changes to the Jenkins/GetCM URLs I see being discussed are really just cosmetic - "thebronasium.com" refers to something that's long since dead and not relevant to what it was actually hosting in the last year or so. I don't think I broke any update flow in that change, GetCM will continue to serve on the old URL, and I have the domain for at least a year before a decision needs to be made on whether I drop it - hopefully long after anyone is using a build with the old URL baked in to the CMUpdater app. Speaking of GetCM, I'm going to have to clean out a bunch of old builds sometime soon, because 4*200MB every day adds up, and it was a pain when I moved server in May.
 
Going forward, I don't really know what the plan is. Since January I've been maintaining the builds and nothing more. I have no idea if any bugs have popped up since then that need addressing. Looking further forward than that, L is obviously no more than a few months off from release and you can have a decent idea of the shape that it's taking if you know where to look. I have a feeling our "lazy" strategy with the kernel probably won't suffice for much longer (we're basically using a kernel that targets Android 4.1 on 4.4) and given that it's a major release, it might be the death of a few chipsets and I imagine more people than usual will probably not bother with it. Other than that, I'm going to pick up a few other projects unrelated to Android, as I really ought/want/need to. I want to learn something and break things again. :D
