Guest TheHindu Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 (edited) Alert !! Today's nightly is broke or something !! cm-11-20140806-NIGHTLY-u8951 Solved (GOLDEN Rule : Wipe BOTH Dalvik and Cache Partition before update) The ROM is super stable yet AGAIN !! Installed correctly but restarts the phone on opening applications Tried Google+ and Whatsapp Edit : Same for Chrome I wiped Dalvik Cache on Install Maybe I will have to re-install . Reinstalling .... (Will wipe both Dalvik & Cache Partition this time) Edit: Still after 15 mins my phone is stuck in bootloop and I am unable to boot into recovery mode by pressing volume up+ power buttons simultaneously. Volume down+power button results in boot loop with CM boot screen. Had to remove battery several times to shut down phone. Still trying. Edited August 6, 2014 by TheHindu

You declared this rom is stable for daily use. Maybe you should wipe the data partition too.

Performance of Nightlies varies from Night to Night !!! I still insist this Rom is Stable. :-) :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D AND today's changelog is typically genius :P :P :P :P C:\Format commandline1984   Successfully booted into recovery :D Edited August 6, 2014 by TheHindu

Secondly, i use linux exclusively sinde 2000 (SuSE 7.0...the good old days :D ) so "format" would do nothing. And it would also do nothing under Android. But keep trying. Guest internectual Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 Am i the only one who noticed a general decrease in sound output volume through the speaker in every build beginning since radio fm was implemented ? I can't use speakerphone anymore because the volume from the rear speaker is no louder than the front speaker. I can still play media through the rear speaker, but speakerphone has been broken for quite some time. I have a Y300-0151 if it makes any difference. I think the last time it worked was when the build was still 4.4.3, but it may have been earlier than that.

Guest ZolaIII Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 UC wont change anything! Why don't you try something Gecko based?
Guest PhilRandal Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 UC wont change anything! Why don't you try something Gecko based? After problems with Chrome crashing, I've reverted to using Firefox. Which works surprisingly well in the following setup: chil360 kernel 0.48, zram disabled, 150MB swap on the Cache partition. Cheers, Phil
Guest ASergey Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 In the latest build there is a bug:Buzzer in the alarm clock (mp3 from sd card) is not repeated after the end or lapse of time or repetition. Melody plays only once!! The problem is still not fixed, and there is also on g300 CM11
Guest trevis97 Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 Where you download the chil360 kernel v0.48 for the cm11?? Can you post me a link? And have you find this swap ??

Guest mRibti Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 Help NEEDED Gents i am having some trouble ... i have a g330 .. i was using a march cm11 build which had 2.6 twrp .. then 2 days ago i flashed the latest slimkat build and i also flashed twrp 2.7 ... now not being happy with the slimkat .. i decided to restore my previous build including the boot .. but i am stuck at the Huawei Boot logo for ages and its not booting at all ... any ideas at all of what is happening .. i've tried wiping D.cache and cache .. but nothing is happening ...
Guest bogdanwp Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 Sounds like it`s not booting. But you still can boot in recovery right ? If not , shut down the phone completely , remove the battery , put the battery back in and hold volume up + power it should work. About the restore function , it never worked in TWRP for me so there you go , it might be lost. But maybe someone knows better than me and can help you more.
