What is the benefit of installing the latest child360 kernel, version 0.49, on top of a recent cm 4.4.4 nightly build on a g510?

I'm not sure that DC's build contains that fix.

If DC has not included the fix yet, I'm sure he will do so in the following builds. 

Why else would he place that comment in the topic for CM11 kernel?

 

Edit: There are reports the issue has not been solved by the fix.

Good question.

 

But DC's kernel image is from August 12th, whereas chil360's updated kernel is timestamped August 13th.

 

On the plus side, 0.49 doesn't seem any worse than 0.48

I really am annoyed by all of these !
