Hi everybody,i have made a small app for unlocking bootloader,flashing recovery,and rooting,i hope you will like it,and i hope it will help you.If there is some "bug",please report it to me,it's the first version,and I'm sleepy,so maybe i missed something...To install,just extract .rar and run .exe,after that copy shortcut from .rar folder to your desktop,and run it... :)

sounds good. nice effort. Need to check and verify by someone with a new phone. I assume that this is specific for Y300, is that right?

If you wanna help download the app catlog from play store and make a logcat of the error, it's much more effective. Edited by Carlos_EVH

Hey Guys,
at first, sorry fot my bad english. Im new here and tried some roms for my y300. I guess the best are FusionX and CM (11). I use currently the FusionX with the 0.54 kernel. The CM11 has some issue with the hwa, right? Its newer but isn't so fast / smooth like the FusionX.
get cm11 full hwa-Support soon? Would be nice! Love the KitKat-Android.

if its possible, i will spent my money :)

 

btw, nice to know: Is it possible to enable OC (1,2 default)? Should working for that phone or not?

Thanks a ton for the ROM. The only feature it is (arguably) missing is a 1.2GHz overclocking option.

Users of galaxy nexus were suffering from the same problem and they were able to solve this by installing the full gapps which is around 250mb.
The problem is i guess a missing gapp. 
If anybody can... please try to install the gapps from the link below and report whether the problem is solved or not...

Edit:Or alternatively replace the camera2.apk in the zip with the file i have attached below :D works great... though many improvements in camera wont be there (which were released after 21/12/2013 nightly).

Edit: ok the file is too big... get camera2.apk from any nightly before 22nd

Working Camera2.apk. Just do replace old camera2.apk using root explorer. Set permissions to rw-r-r and reboot phone.

so i guess the only bug we are suffering from is fake lock animation :D (which can also be disabled using xposed)

and yes not to forget the sim card bug :/(though it works well till the time I dont reboot)

• CM11 use a CM-kernel (or adjusted y300-kernel?). It is possible to edit the Mhz up to 1200? ceXstel-Kernel had this for a while...

Uh oh! I'm being told the HDD is failing. :D

 

Edit: I think the root filesystem is lost, but I think /home (and therefore all the GetCM stuff) is salvageable.

hi, I'm new to this place, but not new to android or custom ROMs.

I'm running the latest nightly 20122712 and I notice the battery doesn't last as long as before, and I can't check for updates from CyanogenMod.

I'm getting an error message that there's no internet connection try again later.

internet is fine.

keep up the great work.

cm11 is fantastic, just like my wah-wey (that's how the guy with greasy hair pronounced it in the carphone warehouse a few weeks ago when I got my "Huey" (£49+£10 top up). :-D

Working Camera2.apk. Just do replace old camera2.apk using root explorer. Set permissions to rw-r-r and reboot phone.
